"COME ON, KAE, WE'VE GOT ONE LAST FIGHT." Peter's voice is the first thing she hears. The last thing she remembered was becoming dust, her consciousness fading away in Peter's arms. Now, she sees those around her. Mantis, Strange, Peter Quill, everyone who turned to dust. They remain on the planet Titan where they faded to dust, but everything feels different, disorientated. She is not where she is supposed to be. Judging by the looks on everyone else's faces, they feel the same disorienting feeling she does.

"You guys ready to go?" Dr. Strange asks before channeling his portals. The look of concentration on his face gave her an inkling that there was something else going on. Something more. "It's been five years, come on they need us."

"What's going on?" she asked in a dazed voice, pulling her mask on as quickly as possible. The urgency was thick in the air and she knew things were going to change very quickly. Just before she could pull her mask on, Peter grabbed her in a hug. He squeezed like he hadn't seen her in a million years. Maybe it had been a million years, Kaelyn had no idea what they would be returning to. Then, she remembered Dr. Strange's words. Five years. "Peter? What's the matter?"

Peter sighed, not letting go, "Last time I held you, you turned to dust in my arms. I'm not letting go this time."

The portals opened wide and Kaelyn saw into pure destruction. She did not know where Dr. Strange had taken them, but it looked like hell on earth. She saw Captain America stand alone facing an army of hundreds of thousands. Peter grabbed Kaelyn's waist and they swung through the portal, Peter removing his mask to oggle the scene in front of them. Despite the situation at hand, Peter smiled.

"We did it, Kae," was all he said, speaking breathlessly with hope in his voice.

As she readied her jet propulsors and any weapons she knew how to fight with, she shook her head, a half-smile teasing at her expression, "Not yet, baby."

She watched in awe as the armies of Wakanda stepped through their portal, chanting the fight songs of their people. Star-Lord and the Guardians stood beside her, gearing up for the endless battle in front of them. A woman who glowed like the sun crashed into the desolate ground, creating a crater in her wake. A man with a metal mask, a leather coat, and what could only be described as a big-ass gun stood beside the man Kaelyn knew as Sam Wilson. Ships flew through portals high in the air, armies rallying behind a hopeful looking Captain America as they faced Thanos's army. A woman in a suit of armor on a flying horse settled with the armies of what Kaelyn could only imagine was the great army of Asgard, she had heard so many stories about whenever she caught Thor at the Avengers compound. Hundreds of people displaying the same gold ember formations of Dr. Strange stood in a small army of their own and Kaelyn was in nothing short of awe. An army like this was from her wildest dreams and her being apart of it was unimaginable. For the first time in a long time, she had hope.

"Is that everyone?" Dr. Strange asked, speaking to the people who must be helping him create the insane amount of portals used to bring everyone to this battlefield.
