AS THE TRIO walked back to the inn with their exceeds walking ahead of them. Sting couldn't help but be worried about Ashley, he knew how she worked from being around her almost every day for almost 9 years now. He knew her better than he knew himself and he took pride in that. He knew everything about her and she knew everything about him, they told each other everything, along with Rogue. And above all that, he knew how her emotions worked, he knew what made her mad, what made her sad... what made her break.
And he knew that after that back there with Natsu, how she almost lost her cool in front of that entire crowd, he knew that it was only a matter of time that her emotions became too much for her and she would become overwhelmed. He didn't want that for her.
