STING WAS THE first to greet Ashley when she walked through the balcony door as he swept her into his arms. "There you are! We've been wondering when you'd be back!" He grinned as Ashley gave a light laugh, wrapping her arms around his neck as he placed her back down to her feet.
"Sorry, I got caught up in talking to someone." Ashley briefly explained as she pressed a swift kiss to his cheek as her arms fall back to her sides after their shared hug and her eyes flicker towards the two haired Sabertooth mages standing near them. Rufus must have left earlier. "Didn't mean to stay out so long."
"You're fine." Minerva cuts in, her eyes trailing over the hand that Sting still had resting on the blonde girl's hip and narrows her eyes. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom before we leave."
Ashley sensed an odd change in her tone, tilting her head as she looked towards the dark haired woman. "You want me to come with?"
Minerva gave a pursed lip smile, shaking her head, "no, I'll be fine, I'll be quick." She said bluntly before turning around and leaving the balcony as Rogue stepped up, watching her go with a look in his eyes that Ashley could only think to be understanding.
