After a long two hours of assembly in the front hall, everyone had reluctantly gone to their classrooms.
The principle always had one at the start of the year.
He mentioned something about some new teachers and sports events and all of that boring stuff.
My first period is biology and only two of my friends were taking this class.
Calvin Morris and Tom Hardin.
Tom is a super cutie.
Golden brown, tousled hair.
Brown eyes.
And an adorable face. A lot of the girls like him, but he never pays any interest in them.
He says that girls bore him.
Pfft.
Whatever.
I always thought of him to be my brother. We were sort of really close in a way.
As for Calvin. Well he's another casanova. Only not with girls. He's gay. But he's proud of it.
Everyone in school knows about his sexuality but they do not say anything that would judge him. His father hasn't really accepted the fact at his son prefers guys and is taking some time to adjust to it.
But I guess he will, eventually.
Right?
"......and that wasn't even the best part....."
Calvin says through his fit of laughter.
He's been telling us about a chicken that ran after him when he went to visit his great aunt Tessa, who lives on the farm.
For a good thirty minutes, we sit in the classroom talking about our holiday from school.
Tom and Calvin, each sat on the chairs and I, on the table.
It was a habit of mine. I don't know why.
"Good morning class. Welcome back to school."
As the teacher walked in I instantly got to my chair.

This is chapter two to this book. I know that it's not the best but it's just a filler.
It does get better though.
