"I don't have parents" She chuckled bitterly
"Oh I guess we're alike" I said with a sad chuckle
"No we aren't, your parents died loving you but my parents?.... I wish they died, that will be less painful" She shook her head

"Don't say that Soyeon, whatever they've done maybe for your own good" I said looking at her
"What good will I get if my whole family left me, my mom cheated on my dad and then left with the man, my dad then couldn't take it and chose to start a new life so he left me and my brother alone, after years my brother had a girlfriend and decided to move away from me with her, it's been 2 years now and I'm living alone since then" She explained

"Oh I'm really sorry I didn't mean to bring up the misery" I sighed "but...."
"If you're gonna ask how am I living or from where do I pay for my food ,the rent and everything then let me explain the whole thing" She sat straight, positioned herself towards me and started

"After they all left me, I stayed alone in the house for days until it was the day to pay the rent, I couldn't pay the whole thing and so I sent an apology letter to the owner telling her that I'll pay her the whole amount of money in a week"

I noded my head signaling her to continue "I started working part time jobs to earn money but before the week is over she came and told me to pack my stuff, I thought she'll kick me out, I begged her to let me stay for the week and if I didn't pay the rent then I'll go out by myself but to my surprise what she came for wasn't the rent but me, she took me with her to her house and told me to stay with her, I was really happy and since then she became my guardian, I took care of her and she took care of me, she paid for my everything, she took me as her daughter and I loved it, I loved the fact that I had a mom once again"

She sighed heavily and continued "but now her son is taking her overseas with him to take care of her health and I'll be staying in her house all alone.........again. I'll be paying rent which means more part time jobs and less sleep hours" she shrugged

"Why don't you stay with me?" I suddenly said without any hesitation
"What do you mean stay with you? Like stay stay for good" I just replied with a nod "YES, thank you" she pulled me up from my hand and started jumping in excitement

AT NIGHT

We both were laying on the bed scrolling through our phones suddenly I remembered this question that I've been dying to ask "Soyeon who's that guy that called you to help me this morning? " "Ohh that's my cousin Jungkook why are you asking I mean I know he's hot and everything but you shouldn't be falling for him on your first day"

"That's not it, he just knows a lot about me" "Like for example?" She asked with an eyebrow raised *I can't tell her that he knows about my powers, I shouldn't be talking about anything like that* "Uhm...... my name? He knew my name"

"He must've did some researches to know who the new student was, you won't actually believe it but he got the highest ranking last year, if he continued with his hardworking this year as well our school will give him a scholarship to the best universities abroad" *I don't know why she told me that but that answers an unasked question* "He's our senior" I thought but loud for her to hear

"Yup he's the most handsome senior" she said looking up the ceiling probably thinking about how handsome he is? I mean I wouldn't disagree, *HE IS the most handsome but my heart simply didn't pound for him, I felt nothing, maybe because I just saw him for a slight moment, who knows* I shrugged my shoulders not wanting to think anymore, I'm just too sleepy *I guess my half human side takes over me sometimes*

I smiled thinking about my dad "I miss them" I said with my eyes closed as a tear found it's way down the side of my face since I was laying on my back

But then I remembered Soyeon I looked at her waiting for an *are you alright? Or why are you crying?* but to my surprise she was already asleep *I guess you really can't wait to see him* I chuckled and laid on my side and hugged my pillow.
