Jinae POV

After roaming around the camp sight for exactly 20 minutes
Mr. Namjoon called us again and now it's our mission to collect sticks for fire and to prepare our tents "The students who were on bus 3 will stay here with Mrs. Jung to help with the preperation of tents, while the students from the two other buses will come with me to the woods to collect some sticks for tonight's fire gathering"

We were all gathered infront of the fence door leading to the forest with Mr. Kim "I want all of you to stick together and be around me the whole time, don't go far from the group and don't walk alone" he instructed before entering the forest with us to follow

I was busy collecting sticks while Jungkook interrupted me "why are you collecting sticks this way?" He asked "because this is how normal ppl do it" I gave him a duh look and continued collecting them like any other person would do

"but are you normal?" He asked with an eyebrow raised and a smirk "what do you mean?" I asked confused "let me show you how WE do it" he emphasized the word -we- with a wink

I observed carefully as he pointed towards a stick on the ground and it glowed orange,soon enough it flew to his hand then he walked up to me and put it  with the rest of the other sticks I gathered before

My eyes were wide "why so surprised?" He said and put his hand on my shoulder "what if someone saw you?" I said a bit mad at him as I pushed his hand off of my shoulder "don't worry about that, humans are slow thinkers" he shrugged "excuse me?" I raised an eyebrow "I'm the daughter of a human, mister" I gave him a slightly disgusted look and walked away from him towards the group as they started walking further from us

Jungkook POV

"Hey Jinae, I'm sorry. You know I didn't mean it that way, I forgot that you're the daughter of a human" I yelled as I tried to catch up to her "what do you mean she's the daughter of a human? Aren't you too?" Suddenly Soyeon popped out of nowhere

I laughed nervously at her sudden question "ofc I am, what else would I be? An alien?" I asked
"Ok let's go" she wrapped her arms around my arm and started pulling me which was kinda cute

Author POV

Mr. Kim is back with the students to the camping sight. The tents were all ready by then. "Great job" Mr. Kim applauded to Mrs. Jung and to the students who helped with the tents.

Jinae POV

It's already evening, the day went so smoothly. We are all gathered around the fire Jungkook and Taehyung helped to set, Soyeon was hugging me because it was cold, her hands intertwined with mine

Nari and Jooeun were whining about the uncomfortable seats, *they aren't so bad to be honest* then Jungkook came and sat next to Soyeon with a blanket in his hand "Soyeon wanna share?" He did a -come closer- pose,that's when Soyeon literally pushed my hand that was intertwined with hers and went towards him *ouch that hurts* I chuckled at how love can make you act

I looked up infront of me and there was Taehyung staring at me, after staring back at him it turned out he was just in his own thoughts that he didn't even blink for a while.

Jooeun noticed and that's when she turned his face towards her "babe what are you looking at?" She pouted acting cute which turned my inner organs up side down out of disgust "huh? Nothing I was just thinking" when he said that she smirked at me *wth I already knew he wasn't looking at me* I face palmed myself in my mind and rolled my eyes at her

Jungkook and Soyeon were giggling at god knows what and here I was all alone staring at the beautiful eye catching flame in front of me sending warm sensations to my heart when HE interrupted my peaceful session
