"Alright Drew.. You can do this." I told myself, but failed right away. I'd screw this up one way or another, but what the heck. I opened the door of the stairwell, leading to the roof where I saw May leaning against the side of the building. It was late, so the sunset colours complimented her perfectly. "... Showtime." I inhaled and went next to her. "... Hey.. Uh.. May?" I looked at her, she knew I was there but didn't acknowledge me. "... Look, I know my ego gets me over my head. But it also comes with my stubbornness when it comes to apologies. Even you should know that by now." I looked down at the ground below, bad idea since I hate heights.
I looked at her and frowned. "Look, we were just trying to act tough cause you guys beat us good last time, we underestimated you. And we're sorry.. Well... I'm sorry.." May perked up and looked at me, a bit pink. "... I..." She stopped, looking away.
Alright, there are many ways this can go;
I forgive you
I hate you
I want to kill you
I will shove you off the building
I am ignoring you
I waited, looking at her. "I'm serious, I didn't wanna hurt you." She looked at me and sighed, smiling a bit. "... Yeah.. I forgive you.. I guess." I smiled wide, then I started hearing violin music in the background... Yeah I definitely watch way too many romance shows... But I swear, all of his happened!
She blushed, as she seemed to be inching closer to me. I smirked a bit, we were literally inches apart..
And then...
RIIIIIIIIIING
THE FRICKEN BELL RINGS.
IT RUINED THE MOMENT.
AAAGGGHHH!!
Oh yeah, worst part?
I was so startled, I fell off the roof...
And broke my arm.
Maybe the stairs to the roof are blocked off for a reason....
