Time Quest

Chapter 3 Prodigy

Everyone got sucked into the wormhole and landed on each other.

Mike asked, "Where am I?"

Zap Man replied, annoyed, "The future, Bill sent us just far enough to have cool tech but not far enough to time travel."

"Then how come we got teleported here?"

"Cuz he is a demon that can do what he flippin' wants!"

Dan said, "I just hope there is no dangerous crossbred animals."

Songbird replied, "Me, I'm still scared of dogs."

Mike asked, "Can I go exploring?"

Zap Man replied, "Ok, just stay out of trouble. Ok?"

"Ok."

Mike and Dan ran off and saw lots of shops with cool stuff in them one shop had a glove that could lift something on the other side of the room, Mike wanted to buy one. The shop was having a contest, whoever says all the digits of pi will win and the winner and the runner up will win one of the psychic gloves.

Mike didn't say all of pi but he was the runner up so he got the cool glove.

Mike walked to the others and said, "Look what I got, a psychic

Mike replied, "I can pick you up ."

Mike looked like he was using the fors and picked Dan off the ground."

Dan asked, "I know your glove is cool but, can you put me down now?"

"Ok."

Mike gently put him on the ground.

Zap Man reported, "Wal you two were goofing off I found some future lore,"Zap Man showed them a picture of a rock "this is the time stone, the legend said that this rock however touches it will go to the timeline he or she was thinking of."

Mike replied, "So you're saying we will have to find a legendary space rock that might not be where you think or, it might not be a real thing?"

"Yep."

"I thought you were a gay that went with facts not myth?"

"But myth is all we have to work with."

"Ok fine, let's go find a legendary space rock!" everyone could tell that mike was being sarcastic.

"Ware do we go first captain?"

"Honestly I have no idea."

So mike and friends walked to the nearest diner in hope for a hero's meal before they go off on their quest.

Dan said, "I wish there was someone who could help us find the time stone."

"Did someone say time stone?" a little kid said as he approached their table. "Hi my name is Jacob, child prodigy at your service."

Mike said, "this is a grown up matter so go back to your family."

Jacob said, "I'm still waiting for them."

"How long have you been waiting for them?"

"About a year." he said it like there was nothing wrong with it.

"Do you know where you live?!?"

"Yes ."

"Then why are you still here?"

"After I graduated college for my third time they would throw me a big party right here, but then they never through it and I'm still waiting for that party."

"That's so sad."

Dan said, "is there anything we can do to help?"

"Na I cindu like it here, but I can help you."

Mike asked, "how?"

"I know all about the time stone, it was made by fellow prodigies like me thousands of years ago, the hiding spot has been handed down from generation to generation and jeenyus runs in the blood." As he winked at Song Bird.

Song Bird said, "dood I'm twice your age."

"I'm older then you think."

"Your eight!!!!!!!"

"And a half!!!"

Mike asked, "are we going or not ?"

Zap Man said, "ok lets go."
