chapter 9 - new friends..

Keerti was working and yawning occasionally as she was sleepy..

The guard bought coffee for Keerti.. she thanked him..

Naksh was not sleepy because he is an insomniac he only gets sleepy after having his pills which Keerti threw in Dustbin...

Keerti rested her head on the desk..

Keerti ( inner voice ) - kya banda hai ye.. ese punishment kon deta hai.. itni neend aarhi hai mein kal kese kaam karungi.. pata nhi dekh bhi kese raha hoga mujhe..  zindagi mein kabhi itna khados insaan kabhi nhi dekha mene..  pata nhi kya musibat hai ye... khados kahinka.. 

She got up and started her work again...

Guard came..

Guard - madam ap kab ghar jaenge ?

Keerti - kal jaungi bhaiya.. boht kaam hai aj..

Gaurd - kuch laon apke liye ??

Keerti - haan ek cup coffee la dijye please..

Gaurd - okay madan abhi leke aata hunn..

Keerti - thankyou bhaiya..

Gaurd came with coffee but keerti was sleeping resting her head on the desk...

Naksh on the other hand saw her sleeping...

He fumed in anger and threw the pillows next to him..

Naksh - I'll not leave you Miss Goenka..

Next day..

Keerti woke up with sound on the sweeper who was sweeping the floor..

She rubbed her eyes and saw the time.. it was 6 am..

Keerti - Oh God.. ab kya karun.. meri toh aankh lag gai ab wo monster singhania mere sath pata nhi kya karega....

She got up , collected her things and went to the hostel..

She opened the door and laid on the bed for sometime..

After sometime she got ready and went back to work..

It was exact 9am when naksh entered..

Everyone stood up to wish him Good Morning..

Naksh without looking at anyone went to keerti's desk..

Keerti was looking at him with fearful eyes..

Keerti - G..G..Good morning Sir..

Naksh - Good morning.. may i have a look at the reports you prepared yesterday miss keerti..

Keerti - sir a... actually i...

Naksh - you felt asleep and you couldnt complete your task.. am i right ??

Keerti - yes sir.. I'm sorry idk how..

Naksh - why you joined our company..

Keerti - sorry sir..

Naksh - i asked why the hell you are here working with us !!!

He shouted at her which made keerti shiver..

Everyone was looking at them and some were gossiping too..

Naksh - jab kaam karna nhi aata toh why the hell you apply for jobs.. apne aap ko topper bolti ho na but apne skills Yahan toh show nhi horhe.. Pata nhi Kyn in logon ne tumhe heir kiya... kaam tak toh karna nhi aata...

Keerti - Sir I'm sorry.. I'll show you report in a hour..

Naksh - in 10 minutes.. I want to see this report completed perfectly .. you only have 10 minutes..

He said and went to his cabin with the same attitude and arrogance..

Keerti sat on her desk and started working with full concentration..

After 10 minutes she finally completed and went to Naksh's cabin..

She knocked the door and went inside listening " come in " from other side...

Keerti - Sir I have completed my work..

Naksh - Hmm..

He took the file and started reading..

Naksh - fine you may go now..

She turned back and took slow steps outside..

Keerti ( inner voice ) - kitna kanjoos insaan hai.. saari raat bethke report ready kiya hai tareef k do Bol bhi nhi bole..

Naksh ( inner voice ) - this girl is so skilled man.. kitna Acha kaam kiya isne.. but still she needs to improve more..

Rest of the day went busy for both..

Keerti was sitting near a lake and throwing stones in the water thinking about her life and Naksh too..

A girl was passing there and one stone hit on her shoulder...

Keerti stood up..

Keerti - oh god .. I'm so sorry I didn't notice you...

Girl - it's ok.. apko Yahan first time dekha hai...

Keerti - Yaa Yahan aae mujhe 2 din hi hue hein...

Girl - ohh would you like to have some juice ??

Keerti - sure..

They both walked to the juice stall there ..

She ordered two orange juices ..

Girl - apka naam ??

Keerti - Keerti Goenka..

Girl - ohh I'm gayatri.. you can call me Gayu ( naksh's sister )

Keerti - Okay..

Gayu - Friends ??

She forwarded her hand

Keerti - Yaa sure wese bhi Yahan ek hi friend he meri ...

Gayu - Hmm.. Ap Yahan kidhar rehti hein..??

Keerti - mein Yahan pe singhania group of
Companies mein kaam karti hun.. or udhar hi hostel Mein rehti Hun..

Gayu - achaa.. Mein bhi usshi area mein rehti Hun.. Ap kis city se ho??

Keerti - udaipur..

Gayu - what a coincidence hum bhi udaipur se hein.. 5 saal pehle Yahan shift hue the..

Keerti - Acha..

Gayu - Apki family mein kon kon hein??

Keerti - koi nhi.. mom dad ka boht pehle death hogaya..

Gayu - ohh I'm sorry..

Naksh ki tareef by Keerti ( sarcastic ) .. Gayu tells him..

What will he do with Keerti now ??
