The glow of the campfire was gone. You were left in dim lighting and you could see large stone structures all around you. It was something out of a different time, you'd visited ancient ruins before, this felt oddly similar, but the foliage? The greens of the trees and the grass didn't match the images in your head. This was twisted. Perverted in some way.

You had to move though, staying put was a deadly gamble. You'd figured that much out. You were nervous to go near the center structure, it was menacing and it looked ready to cave in at any moment. Best to play it safe, despite your curiousity. You wander a little further anf come across the now familiar sight of a generator, or what should have been a generator. It was encompassed by dark, insect like appendages. You walked up to it and tried to pry one of them off of the generator to no avail. Just upset clicking. Best to move on.

You stumbled over to the next generator, it's blinking light drawing your attention. You found someone else in the process of doing the same thing. "What the fuck is wrong you stupid spider?" She hissed. It was the asian girl from before. Feng, you thought.

"Hey, psst, over here." You whispered and she turned on you with an upset glare.

"What do you want?" She replied, looking rather pissed.

"Well, we're supposed to be on a team, right?" You asked, looking around. Nothing.

"Maybe, but have you ever heard the phrase divide and conquer? I intend on getting out of this match alive."

"Match? What do you think this is, some kind of game?" You hissed, now yourself a little upset.

"And you don't? Have you ever played a horror game before? Have you ever seen Saw?" She asked and you rolled your eyes.

"Well this isn't a video game or movie, this is our lives right now." You replied.

"Exactly. I intend to take control of mine and win." She said and the appendages dissaperared with a crackle. She began working on it immediately. You huffed and walked away, you'd rather not deal with her at the moment.

You moved along the perimeter of the temple? You were guessing at this point. It looked old enough to be one. You glanced about, still moving, and heard the soft thud of a heartbeat. You looked around, but didn't see anything. Yet. You took another step only to find nothing beneath you.

You were falling, it was a short drop in retrospect, but it didn't stop you from grunting as you landed. At least you remembered to bend your knees a little bit. You looked around and found yourself in what looked like a catacomb of some sort. Basement didn't feel fitting. After a quick glance around you gathered that you were alone. No footsteps. No more heartbeat.

A shrill scream sounded in the air and you looked up in alarm. It came from Feng's direction. You winced a little and walked over to the generator inside the room. There were two staircases in front of it. Two pathways up and out. You hunkered down in the back of the generator hoping to get a clear view of potential approaches and began to work.

It was a little easier than before, still slow going and tedious, but your hands were finding the right wires and you were halfway done and you had managed to not blow the stupid thing up. That was when you heard another shout and Feng was down. You looked around and saw her on the ground in the distance. What was weird was the loud scream that accompanied the hit. Masculine and not one you'd heard before.

You looked around once more and decided to stay put. You still hadn't gotten any generators done and that seemed to be the priority. You did keep an eye on Feng, you wished you could see where your teammates were. This anxiety was relieved when you saw her yellow aura vanish. Someone had grabbed her.

The generator before you lit up and you bolted like a bat out of hell, up the stairs and you stopped. You stared at the golden floor beneath you and the hourglass like structure hanging over head and your eyes widened. It would have been beautiful were it not for the terror it struck in your heart. Something terrible had ocurred here. You could smell the sickness and the death.  There were opened doorways now. Two of them.

You didn't like this building at all. You left, quickly, and found yourself at Feng's generator. She had not yet returned and based on the incoming heartbeat the killer had the same thought as you. You ducked down near a knocked down pillar and waited. You peeked over the edge and saw a tall woman in an elegant white dress. Her golden headress catching the light. She looked like she had once been beautiful, but you could see the festering blisters on her thighs and arms. You could see the way her teeth were partially exposed where the skin  had once been.
