Star And The Forces Of Evil: Fluttering Nights

Prologue

You make your way through the woods in the cold winter evening. Shuffling through the crisp snow desperate to find some sort of civilization.

'I'm gonna freeze to death out here' you thought clinging to your jacket like it was something of extreme importance to you.

You then spot a cabin in the distance like it somehow appeared out of nowhere, looking at it like it was a rescue operative getting you out of a newly formed trench.

'Finally a place of warmth' you said beaming gleefully as you sprint toward the log cabin.

As you go to knock on the door it suddenly started to open by itself, like it was inviting you in.

'You know if I wasn't freezing my ass off I would run the other direction...buuutt since its empty.'

As you walk inside the cabin you find that it...is completely empty, all the lights are off, dust accumulating on the furniture...but other than that very clean.

'Guess I'll stay here till the storm dies down.'

Then all of sudden the door slams and locks behind you with a lot of force.

'Just the wind?' you ask yourself deep down knowing that...that wasn't no wind. You then hear whispering in your ear,you couldn't make out what they were saying but it was freaking you out. The seemingly empty cabin then began to flicker to life as lights turned on, dust disappeared, and there the fireplace also came to life with its orange and yellow glow making you feel slightly warmer than you were before, but then froze up as soon as you saw what was in front of you.

There right next to the fireplace was a lone chair that wasn't there before. The chair in question was a dark shade of red with golden accents, it seemed to be a tall swivel chair and looked very comfortable, it was then that the chair started to turn slowly.

You felt chills go down your spine as you were trying to move your legs but failed miserably,waiting for the chair to reveal what was in it you starting biting your lip trying to get pain to kick-start your legs into running away.

As what was in the chair finally started to show, you closed your eyes not wanting to look at the horror....and in the chair waaasss.....

Nothing

'What?' you said out loud,there was really nothing in the chair? 'Well that was anti climatic I was expecting some kind severed head or a dead skeleton,but I guess I was overreacting a little to much there 'sigh' let me get the hell out of here before I freak out more and have a heart attack.'
You turned around to come face to face with...

???:"BOO!"
Y/N:"AAAAHHHHHH"
???:"AHAHAHA, You should see the look on your face right now it's priceless...in fact."

The man then snaps a photo of your scared to death face with a camera that appeared out of thin air.

Y/N:"Who the hell are you jackass?!"
???:"Wow that is some potty mouth you got there can we calm down a little cause I'm sensing alot of tension here in this room."
Y/N:"Are you kidding me? You scared me half to death with that ghost biz you pulled off just now! Who are you anyway?"
???:"Why I'm the narrator."
Y/N:"Huh?"
Yobis:"Yes the narrator,but for the sake of your sanity you can call me Yobis."

Getting a good look at the man now you notice all of his details. He is wearing a black suit with a tie that screams fire design, he's also got on a crimson red top hat that's got a black rim that covers his face,just add his white fancy gloves and dress shoes it makes him look like some kind of Butler.

Y/N:"Why are you here in a abandoned log cabin 'Yobis'?"
Yobis:"I could be asking you the same question in fact. What are you doing in MY log cabin?"
Y/N:"Well there's a snowstorm outside and this was the closest place."
Yobis:"Say no more, you are my company now, mi casa su casa mi amigo."

The Butler looking man then sat in the red chair getting comfortable while a table and another chair across from his came out of thin air as well

Y/N:"Ugh,thanks?"
Yobis:"Don't mention it dear reader just till the storm passes."
Y/N:"What?
Yobis:"Nothing at all."

A few minutes go by, but it felt like an hour to you just sitting in this chair doing nothing,until the humble host broke the ice with a question that surprised you.

Yobis:"Would you like to hear a story?"
Y/N:"Ehhh?!"
Yobis:"Oh I'm sorry for disturbing you I just thought it was getting awkward so I decided to ask if you would like to hear a story"

The question really did disturb you,why would anyone ask randomly if you would like to hear a story? But since you were bored out of your mind with literally nothing to do and the fact the storm wasn't going down anytime soon you decided to humour him and listen.

Y/N:'sigh' "Fine let me hear this 'story' your talking about. " making air quotes with your fingers when you said story.
Yobis:"Great, alright grab some popcorn and get comfortable dear reader, for this a story that will put you on the edge of your seat,will put you on the verge of sadness, and make you say 'awww' as you sit in your bed."
Y/N:"What?"

Get ready for a story about the tragedy of a knight in shining armour that turns to a destiny set in stone and a Butterfly that gets trapped inside the wanderer's web.
