Ross's POV:
"Ross! Get up!" My mom calls, shaking my shoulder. I roll over and groan, when on the bus, I never seem to sleep well. "Why can't I just sleep in?" I complain in a sleepy voice. My mom just laughs, "You've already slept in, its 11 o' clock son." She replies.
I roll over and almost fall out of my bunk, I steady myself in time before falling. I jump down and rub my eyes, another day of traveling ahead. I walk over to the table where everyone, besides mom and dad, is sitting. I slide in, right next to Ellington. I try to hide my blush, but Rydel gives me a weird look. I lean back and start drifting back asleep, my head hits a shoulder, but I'm too tired to care.
Ellingtons POV:
Ross walks in and slides in next to me, his leg brushes against mine, my breath hitches. Stop that Ell! You can't like Ross! I feel something hit my shoulder, I look over and see Ross, asleep on my shoulder. He must be really tired. I gently pick him up bridal style, and I carry him to the back room.
I set him in my bed, because it's closer, and I cover him with a blanket. I turn to leave, but Ross turns towards me. "Ell?" He says quietly, in that sexy sleepy voice of his. "Shhh... Go back to sleep..." I whisper, stroking his soft blonde hair.
He finally falls back asleep, I watch him for a few minutes, staring at his peaceful sleeping figure. I give him a kiss on the forehead, before walking out of the bedroom area. I walk through the curtain that separates the bedroom and the main room, only to run into Rydel. She looks up at me with a huge smile, "What?" I ask, feeling slightly uncomfortable. "I seen that..." She says with a mischievous grin.
"So? I put him in bed, this tour is taking its toll on Ross..." I reply, I'm nervous she knows more.... "Ell, I'm a girl, I know a lot about certain things... like I think you like Ross." She whispers, luckily everyone had left the bus to go to a rest stop. "Delly.... I know I can trust you.... So what should I do? I'm scared... What if he-" I go silent as I look in the bedroom, Ross is wide awake and staring at me.
"Ross? I... Let me explain!" I stutter, walking into the bedroom. I walk up to him with a million doubts running through my mind. "Y-You have a c-crush on m-me?" He stutters, looking at me with wide eyes.
I hang my head and nod, ashamed he found out this way. I look up at him, and he's smiling. "Ell, I think I like you too..." He says stepping closer to me. I smile and hug him, he lays his head on my shoulder. "Ross.... Wanna go out sometime?" I ask, I'm so happy I don't worry about details. "
Of course!" He replies. I kiss his forehead and a camera snaps. I turn and Rydel's smiling with her camera out. "Guys, I'm really happy for you, but you might wanna keep this a secret, just for now." She says with a frown. I shrug my shoulders and hug Ross tighter. "Ell... How long have you.... liked guys?" Ross asks, I gulp.
"Ross... I've only liked you... and for about a year..." I confess, blushing. Ross smiles and kisses my cheek, "I feel special..." He says with a chuckle. I blush and pull away, I kiss his cheek and walk out. Rydel smiles at us, "You guys are adorable." She coos. I smile and sigh, this was so wonderful, I'm so relieved.
