Ross's POV:

When everyone loads back on the bus, Ratliff and I have to play it cool and act normal. Seems easy, right? Wrong! Now that I can show my feelings for Ell, I have to keep them a secret still! I want to be wrapped in his arms, I want to hold him, but I can't. It's killing me.

Every once in awhile, I'll see Ratliff looking at me, and I blush every time. It's been a week since we first brought our feelings to light. I swear, this is the hardest week of my life. Our shows are harder to play, my mind is distracted.

Every rest stop, every time we're alone, me and Ell are together. Like now, we're holding hands in my dressing room. "This is so hard." I sigh, I look up at him with a frown. "We can't keep hiding... I think we should tell someone..." I confess. "We can't!" He says, his face paling.

"Babe... I know you're scared, but we should at least tell my mom.... it would be a start." I offer, stroking his cheek. "O-Okay...." He replies, he looks super nervous. "Ell.... It's gonna be fine babe." I say with a smile, he smiles back.

He looks adorable with his hair all messy and floppy, and a crooked smile on his face. I want to kiss him so badly, but I want our first kiss to be special. "Hey, wanna go out tomorrow? There's gonna be a fair in the town we're performing at." He asks, "Yeah, let's go." I reply.

He smirks and ruffles my hair, before standing up. "Wanna tell mom together?" He asks, I nod and stand up as well. I ask the security guard to go find mom and bring her here, and he does.

I gulp as my mom walks in, "Hey sweetie, what's up?" She asks, closing the door behind her. "Mom, I... We... have something to tell you." I say, looking at Ellington. He walks over and stands next to me. "Mom... W-We're dating....." I say, blushing as I take Ratliff's hand.

My mom gapes at us for a few seconds, processing the news. After a minute, it seemed like hours, she smiles. "Son, I'm glad you're comfortable sand you figured yourself out. I noticed how you weren't really happy with a girlfriend, and if a boyfriend makes you happy, I'm happy. I know Ratliff will take care of you." She says, she hugs me and Ell.

I exhale in relief, 2 family members down, 4 more to tell.... Then our entire fan-base, then the world. One step at a time, Ross! "That was easier than I expected." Ellington says. "That's because you didn't talk!" I exclaim, playfully punching his arm. He laughs and pinches my sides, earning a giggle from me. "Stop!" I say, stepping back to avoid getting pinched again.

Ell smiles mischievously at me and reaches for my sides again. I take my opportunity and grab his sides before he reaches mine. He laughs and retracts his attack. "Come here!" He growls, pulling me onto the couch with him. I'm laying on his lap, on my stomach. Ell smacks my butt and I gasp, "Ell!" I say, squirming to get off him.

"Stay!" He says, slapping my butt again. "Well I know who's the dominant one...." I giggle. He finally allows me to get off of him, luckily, and he kisses my cheek. "Concert time babe." I say, walking to the door. When I open it, I see a hooded figure running down the hall, and the door was cracked.

Who was watching us?! "Hey!" I call, I chase after the figure but I lose him. I curse under my breath and turn around. Ratliff jogs up, "What happened?" He asks. "Someone saw us...." I say in a panicked tone.

Unknown POV:

That was so disturbing... So Ross and Ellington. I chuckle under my breath, this is gonna be fun; Screwing with their lives, blackmailing them. They have no idea what's coming to them.....

Ratliff's POV:

I want to hold and kiss Ross, to make him feel better. But with so many people around, I can't. "It's gonna be okay." I assure him. "Hey, just forget about this okay? We're gonna go out tomorrow, and all this will be in the past." I say.

He nods and we get called to the stage, we're on in 5. We walk over and start getting ready for the show. I never realized how far my drum set is from Ross's mic.....

*The Next Evening*

"C'mon Ross!" I say, pulling him towards the carnival games. We told everyone that we were going to the fair, we expected everyone to want to come; But nobody wanted to. Rocky and Riker don't want to go anywhere without their girlfriends.

Rydel didn't wanna ruin our time, and Ryland decided to hang out with Brandon, so it's just us. I drag Ross around to different rides and games, but I'm really just waiting for sunset.

The sun FINALLY starts to set, and I drag Ross to the Ferris wheel. We have hoods and sunglasses on for now, until we get moving on our cart. Luckily we have the kind of cart that sort of hides the people inside. We stop at the very top, I love the way the sun shines in Ross's hair.

"You're so beautiful..." I say, pulling him closer. He blushes and looks down. I lift his chin up with my finger, and look into his eyes. He closes his eyes and leans up. I slowly and gently press my lips against his, and fireworks go off in my head. Our lips fit like puzzle pieces and move in sinc. We both pull away, smiling and breathless. "Perfect." I breath.
