Wake up to reality

Still not entirely sure what happened but I guess I ended up back in my own bed.

It's almost amusing how well the sound of a reversing truck works as an alarm. With most alarms I'll just smash the snooze the moment it makes a sound, but I can't do that to a truck. It just keeps beeping on and on and on! I've considered throwing rocks to see if I can activate some sort of snooze button, although I don't think knocking out the driver really counts.

City life eh? It's a bit of a pain waking up every morning to the sound of construction work, but it's better than nothing. They're constantly building and expanding and making more room for people like me so the streets stay clear of broke college students.

Yeah that's right, I'm a college student. I just so happened to be top of all my classes as well, so you better not think I'm lazy or anything. I just... Can't make any money at the moment as all... My dad always tells me to focus on my studies. And my mum? She's always too busy either getting drunk or dealing with a hangover the next day. It's never really bothered me though; that's just how my life plays.

But enough with the sop story, I've got a real tale to tell.

When I asked how I got home, my dad informed me "one of the girls brought you home from the party, saying that you passed out after having too much fun" I still wasn't sure how the girl in the forest came into play, but then he continued, "I don't think I've ever seen you with her before, you should introduce me" so out of curiosity, I replied "who bought me back?" to my amazement I was given that very familiar description "Red hair, green eyes, you can't really miss her" and with that I was content.

But I still needed answers.
