Chapter Five: Reckoning

Nova's P. O. V

Two weeks later....

"Can you see the flames in my eyes? The temperature of a thousand suns, raging down on me.
Should I face it? or Should I keep on running away? Nevertheless, I can't escape this faith.
Destroyed dreams of a million souls raging after me..
Stop running they say... let me have you they say.
Each step takes away my sanity... Is this the end? Am I loosing myself already?
Hope fading in the distance, thin ropes hang around me. Shadows running away from this faith stopped running, making me compelled to this life.
Speeding bells ring louder blocking all senses. Fading into the horizon, should I do? Indeed I shall be, a dust in this era."

Damn this is deep, it's been awhile since a got something this good, now let's find someone to interpret this for me.

"Alright everyone I need volunteers, anyone who signs up gets extra credit in all the upcoming tests." Coach Dawn with a loud raging voice. He always has this cheesy way of making students do his heavy lifting for him, for a fitness coach who actually doesn't seem to make any use of his strength and big muscular physique.

He moves closer and says, "Hey Nova, why don't you sign up?" I don't want to get caught up in his tricks, too lazy for that stuff.

"Oh nah I'm good, you got all the help you need." I said.

"Hey Nova, what you doing, is that a diary?" A girl asked, her voice sounds so soft, so peaceful, so perfect...

"No actually, it's kinda of journal trying to make a record here." I actually replied before tilting my head to the other to find out who it was and there she was...whom in my eyes is the most beautiful girl ever.

"Hey, how you doing...?" Me desperately trying to smolder my feelings in the heat of moment.

She blushes a little as she replies..."i'm good and what about you?"

"Perfectly fine with you here now....um i mean like here...in class...i'm just bored."pheww perfect recovery.

"Okay, want to go get lunch with me?" She says

"um yeah sure" i just kept starring at her perfect looks, cute lips, beautiful eyes damn i could perfectly write an essay about her.

AHEM...HACK...AHEM...someone pulling the pretense coughing, i look around and i see crystal just at the doorway looking at us, ah so it's her smh. Walked around with Reyna a bit before our stop to the cafeteria.

We sat down a bit, as i watched her eat her fries as i myself drink a juice box, we talked for a longer as she finished eating. The bell rings and i walked her to her class then walked back to mine.

An hour hour passed and finally school was over for the day.

Saw Reyna on my way out, got closer talked with her again before she got to her car and we said our goodbyes. Watched her drive off then i walked towards my bike to find crystal standing there smirking and smiling then goes like....."There he is today's finest man on the planet, so how does it feel like."

I just smiled smiled and pretended not to know what she talking about."Let's just go home."

"Yes sir, seems like someone's in good mood."

"Yes i am yes i am, but let's hit the dinner first before we get home." I'm just starving, the dinner is just a few minutes away shouldn't be too long before we get there.

"Okay good cos' I'm kinda hungry." She says...

We got to the dinner ordered for some takeouts, then someone asks us a question about our uncle which was kinda suspicious...i mean this dude just sits across the room starring at us then noticed we noticed him starring, which made Crystal nervous. Walks closer then says...."Hey, I'm Mike, where is Jun?" As if he wasn't a total stranger which made me ask this..."Excuse but whom does this concern?"
