Chapter 20 (OHMYFREAKINGGAWD!!)

  As we walked inside the hospital it started to rain. That isn't a sign is it? Oh my God what if it is a sign?! I bet it's the world telling me that something bad is going to happen! I just know it is! I guess Evan saw me staring at the window and he somehow knew what i was thinking because he went up behind me and hugged me. "Shh. It's okay. Ross will be alright. I promise he'll wake up soon," he whispered in my ear. I smiled.

 Evan could be an idiot or a jerk but he also has a big heart and always know how to cheer me up. As we waited in Ross' room, I got tired. The room was dim and it was filled with almost no one. Rydel, Ratliff, Riker, and Rocky left to go to the cafeteria to get some food while Cassidee, mom and dad, and Mr and Mrs. Lynch left to go to the hotel and freshen up a bit since we've all been stuck here waiting for Ross to wake up for a long time. 

  I think we're all sleep deprived. 

I've been sitting on this plastic chair next to Ross' bed, my feet dangling from one end while my head laid in an uncomfortable position. While Evan was spooning with Jesse near by a window. The open door was the only source of light since the hallway was lit up. I would jump a bit everytime there was thunder. I wish Ross was awake to hold me in his arms and make me feel safe but I'm left alone on this plastic chair. It's just not normal to see him so still, so boring. He was so energetic and happy most of the time.  

I sighed and held onto Ross' right hand. It was still warm, which i guess was a good sign. 

I heard some footsteps coming to us. "HI!!" a squeaky voice said. I raised my head to look at the owner of the voice. It was a girl who had curly brown hair with another girl who looked like her, next to her. 

"Hi," I said. 

"I'm Rose and this is my twin sister Ann," Rose said. Evan, Jesse, and I waved and they smiled.

"I'm Jesse. This is Evan and that is Penelope," Jesse said, pointing to each of us. 

"Can I ask Jesse and Evan a question?" Ann asked.

Jesse and Evan nodded. "Are you two gay?" Ann asked.

"Yes. Is there a problem with that?" Evan said, getting very defensive. 

"Oh no. No. I LOVE GAYS!! But the cute ones are always taken," Ann said. 

I laughed. "That's what I keep saying!" We all laughed. 

A tall girl with blonde hair ran up to them. "Rose, Ann. We gotta go. Come on now," she said. The two girls nodded and waved goodbye. Then ran away. I shook my head. Strange girls. They can be so carefree. 

A tear escaped my eye and I quickly wiped it away. "Aww, don't cry," someone said. I raised my head to look at the owner of the voice. No one was there. I looked back at Ross. His eyes were closed but his lips were curved into a smile. Must have been my imagination.

Wait. 

My head whipped to look at Ross and he laughed. "ROSS!!!" I exclaimed jumping on top of him. "I missed you so much!" 

He chuckled and hugged me back. "Aww I missed you too."

"Never, ever leave me," I said.

"Promise to never ever leave you. I can't live without you Penelope," he said. I hugged him one more time and gave him a kiss. "You know what? I just realised I can't get enough of you."

Hey guys! Yeah it's over. :'( It's so sad. I know I don't want it to end either. BUT it might not be the end. I do have ideas for the sequel so after reading this I want you guys to give me some feedback telling me if you loved it or not and if you want the sequel. I will wait about 1-2 weeks for the feedback. And if I get enough fans that want the sequel then I will start the sequel for you guys.
