Can't Get Enough Of You (18)

Chapter 18 

   I thought everything was gonna be okay. I thought after the concert I could call him and tell him I was alright. I thought that I could hear him say that he loves me again. But I sometimes you can't always get your way. I snorted. That's the story of my life. I never get my way. No matter how much I think that I think that everything will be alright and I'll have a happy ending, I'll never get what I want. 

I'm probably confusing all of you. So let me start from the beginning...

    I was in my dressing room sitting down in one of the seats singing some covers with Cassidee. "Okay it's time to get ready!!" Evan yelled. I groaned and lied my guitar down. Cassidee and I sat down in front of the desk with the mirror. Two young girls came into the room and started to do our make up and hair. My hair was in a high ponytail and Cassidee's hair was in a side ponytail. We changed into our first outfits and stepped out. I was wearing a black high waisted skirt with a white top and Cassidee was wearing a white high waisted skirt with a black top. And we both were wearing flats. 

Once we were ready, we walked to the platform below the stage. We stayed there until Evan and Jesse started playing the beat to Cowboy Casanova. When they did, the platform elevated and a puff of smoke rised as we came into view. Cassie started singing and I sang along. 

When we finished singing Cowboy Casanova, Cassidee and I took a few deep breathes and spoke into the mic. "Well hello!! I am so glad to be here! Welcome to my first ever concert of this tour! This tour will be great! It'll be fun, exciting, and a lot of you will be talking to me in person! So let's have some fun!" I yelled. "This song is called Best Friend's Brother and it relates to all 4 of us in the band and to most of you in the world. Because one day some of you will fall in love with your best friend's brother. I fell in love with my best friend's brother, Cassie did, Jesse did, and Evan actually fell in love with his sisters' best friend," I said, laughing. Cassidee started laughing with me and Evan and Jesse just hid their faces and blushed a bright shade of red. 

"Aw Penny I think we embarassed our baby brother and Jesse," Cassidee said. I threw my head back and laughed. Cassie and I would do this all the time in our concerts, talk to the fans and make jokes. It was fun and made the fans smile. 

"Aw we did it again. Well let's play a song so they won't be embarrassed anymore! What do you guys think?" I yelled. The crowd cheered and started jumping. I smiled. "HIT IT!" Cassidee and I yelled. 

After we sang that song, we sang some other songs and we were finally at the last song. Cassidee and I had to do a outfit so we ran out while Evan and Jesse played the ending instrumental of the song. Both of us ran down the stairs and to the small tent in the back where we would change. We entered the room and took our new clothes and changed in less than 30 minutes since most of our clothes were easy to remove. We put on our last touches and then put back on our ear pieces and the took our mics. 

  Cassidee and I gave each other a smile and walked to the rising platform. Once again there was smoke as the platform elevated while I did the beginning high note. The song we were singing was Ain't No Other Man and it had many high notes. Cassie and I would practice this with each other in the studio and it would make us lose our voices the next day. 

Once the concert was over and I had the meet and greet, which was tons of fun and was awesome!, btw, we piled back into the tour bus and sat down. The driver started driving as Big Time Rush's cover of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You,' started playing in my ear-buds and I started to type in my journal on my laptop. 

I was interrupted by someone flicking me in the head and blowing in my ear. "Hey!" I yelled at the person who did it. It was Evan and Jesse. Those two are ganging up on me. How dare they! I thought Jesse and I were friends! And my own twin brother is against me?! What the heck?! Where's Cassie when I need her? 

Jesse took out one of my ear-buds and I could hear my ring-tone going off. I mouth formed into an 'o' and I took the phone out of his hands. "Hello?" 

"P-penlope?" I heard Rydel sniff and I could tell she was crying. 

"Rydel? What's wrong? Are you okay?!" I asked, worried. 

"Y-yeah I-I'm o-okay. I-it's j-just t-that R-Ross. H-he's. H-he'...."she trailed off. I could hear her silently sobbing in the background.

I pressed the phone closer to my ear. "R-rydel? What happened to Ross?!"

"H-he's i-in t-the h-hospital!" she broke down in the end. My phone fell out of my grasp and my eyes widened. H-he's in the hospital? What happened?

AUTHOR'S NOTE....

  Oooooh. You guys did not see that coming did you? It's short because I wanted to do a good chapter while still keeping you guys at the edge of your seats. I told Dez, that I would break a lot of hearts by doing this. I'm so so sorry if I made you cry or broke your heart or something!! I know I had the urge to cry while I was typing this. I'm sorry!! I didn't want this to happen but I had to do it!! 

  Cause then without it, it wouldn't be exciting. :( I'm so sad about doing this. Okay so comment and vote!! I really appreciate them. And you guys can talk to me anytime you want! I swear I'm nice!!
