Can't Get Enough Of You (11)

A/N: quick author's note. I promise this time it will be quick. Okay so thank you guys for all the support and I'm extremely happy. I can't stop writing chapters everyday!! Like I have the whole story planned now and it is so awesome!! Thank you guys so much! And now i will let you read chapter 11. <33

       It's Saturday. And the second day that we've been here. And I'm just sitting on the couch, thinking over and over again, what happened yesterday. Brenda cheated on Ross. They broke up. Ross is single. Two months later and he's finally single and free from the devil. Ross. Is. Single. I know I shouldn't be happy about it but I can't help it!! 

   And I probably look like I've gone mad. I'm just sitting on the couch, staring at the wall with a huge grin on my face. Yup, I probably look like I've gone crazy. "Um Cassidee, i think Penelope's broken," Evan whispered. I laughed and threw a pillow at him. It hit him in the face and he tried to throw it back at me but I caught it just in time. I smiled and fell back on my back and started laughing. 

  I stopped laughing when I spotted Ross slowly walking down the stairs. I patted the seat next to me and he sat down. I put my arm around him and examined him. He's still heart broken isn't he. Hmm....Oh I know!!

  "Okay I know you're really heart broken right now. And I don't want you to be moping around all day. So we are having a best friends day," I said. He turned his head to me and raised an eyebrow.

  "What's a best friends day?"he asked. I laughed 

  "A best friends day is day where two best friends have the whole day together and do whatever they want. And that's what we are going to do." I patted his back and stood up. I led him up the staircase and into his room to get changed. Today will be fun. Plus it will give Ross and I time for just each other and strengthen our friendship more since we're both so busy and I've been gone for like 3 years. And it will be good for both of us. 

    Once he was dressed and ready and ate some pancakes, I took his hand and led him outside. I started to walk down the hill, while dragging Ross with me. "Where are we going?" he asked. I smiled and laughed.

  "It's a surprise." We kept walking until we reached this little ice-cream shop at the bottom of the hill. I don't know why not a lot of people come here, they have awesome ice cream. The little bell on the top of the door rang as I opened the door. I ordered a big sundae and we sat in a booth. I smiled and handed a spoon to Ross. I grabbed my own spoon and took out a chunk of ice cream. 

   "It tastes soo good," I moaned. "Try it. Come on. It'll make you feel better.

  He took a piece and moaned when the ice cream went into his mouth. I smiled and laughed. Once we finished the ice cream we shared, we walked back to the beach house. The sun was setting so I grabbed Ross' hand and dragged him to the balcony and we watched as the sun went down. The sky was a mixture of orange and red. It was beautiful. I smiled and rested my head on Ross' shoulder. I pictured a smile on his face and i felt his hand playing with my hair. I laughed and relaxed. 

  This is how it should be everyday. Just me and Ross. No distractions. Just some time to bond. 

Once the sun had set and it got dark, I led Ross to the family room, where I had Riker, Ratliff, Rydel, Cassidee, Rocky, Evan, and Jesse to build us a fort out of blankets and pillows. There was a stack of DVD's and video games on the table. Ross' eyes widened and he smiled. "Wow. You did all of this?" 

 "Yeah. With some help. And I have another surprise for you. Stay here," I said. He sat on the couch and I ran to the kitchen. I grabbed the box of pizza and two cups of coke and walked back to the family room. I smiled and Ross' smile widened. I opened the box and the smell of hot pizza filled the air. 

  I took out a piece of the hot cheesy pizza and bit into it. "Ow! Hot!" I screamed and put the pizza on a plate and letting it cool. Ross laughed and left the pizza alone. "Okay so time for some music." I grabbed the remote and turned on the radio. Animal by Neon Trees started blasting through the speakers. Ross and I probably thought the same thing and we both stood up and started dancing. 

    Here we go again. I kinda want to be more than friends. So take it easy on me. 

 Ross and I were dancing so weird. We first started to do the Egyptian and then did the conga line. Then we lost control and danced anyway we wanted to. It was so fun. 

  The song started to end and Ross and I were still going crazy. He tripped on something and we fell on-top of each other. We breathed heavy, staring into each other's eyes.

 And we got closer.

And closer.

And closer.

Until our lips were inches apart. 

And our lips came closer.

And closer. 

My eyes fluttered closed and I got ready to kiss him. 

And our lips came even closer...

"We're home!" Cassidee yelled. Moment ruined. Why Cassidee? My eyes shot open and I groaned. Ross held a hand out to help me get up and I accepted it. I got up and dusted myself off. "Was I interrupting something?" she asked innocently.

"Yes." 

"No." 

"Okay...Oooh pizza!" Cassidee ran over to the box and took a bite. I rolled my eyes and finished my pizza.

  I had 2 slices and I was already full. The rest of the gang gathered around the table and finished all of the pizza. I rolled my eyes and dumped the empty box of pizza into the garbage once I left to go to the kitchen. I had one more surprise for Ross for tonight. I opened the freezer and took out the ice cream cake with a picture of all 9 of us and the R5 sign on it. 

  I smiled and took it to the living room. I dimmedthe lights and entered the room with the cake. Everyone grabbed a plate and a fork. Once I laid the cake on the table everyone stared at it hungrily. Evan's hand was getting closer to the cake and I quickly slapped it. "Eh. No touchy. The first piece goes to Ross," I said. Ross' smile widened-if it was possible- and he took the first piece from me. 

  Once everyone had gotten a piece, I plopped in a Paranormal Activity 2 and it started playing. I was sitting on the couch with Ross and he would protect me if anything scary would pop up. "No don't go down there. No don't! AH!" I screamed when the daughter was going down the staircase with the video camera. I had watched this movie a million times but I'm still not use to anything popping up on the screen. When I saw a shadowy figure I hugged Ross tight and hid my head in his neck. "Can i look now?" I murmured.

 "Yeah you can look," he said softly. I sighed and looked back at the screen. The scary music started playing which meant something was coming closer. I heard a loud scream from the TV and I literally jumped in the air and landed on Ross' lap. He chuckled and hugged me tight. He laid back and I rested my head in the crook of his neck. I felt safe.  

  Safe in Ross' arms.

  Author's Note...

       D'aww! That's so sweet! And who wouldn't feel safe in Ross Lynch's arms? Right? Aw they almost kissed. But Cassidee had to ruin the moment. Sorry guys but I couldn't help  it. XD Okay so that is chapter 11. I love this chapter. It's awesome and I'm really satisfied of how it turned out. And I am so happy about all the good things about this story. You're all so awesome. <333
