Erza was in the middle of packing when she came out to her mom, declaring, “I’m bi.” And then she stormed out of the dining room to pack her things for college. On the first day. The day she leaves home. It all went great according to her plan. Her Mom wouldn't be able to do anything for that matter, other than try to intake everything her daughter just said. Which was that single sentence.
“Y-You can't be serious? You and I won't be seeing each other until semestral break! How could—” was the response Erza was expecting. But all she received that day, when she stepped out of their house, was a big hug and a kiss on the forehead.
“Good luck out there. And please tell me these things before you run off.”
Erza half-smiled, hugging her one last time before hopping into the cab. If she were to choose her own vehicle, she preferred motorcycles, which her Mom didn't allow her to do unless she turns 28.

Natsu ended up choosing the lower bunk, no matter how much he wanted the upper. He'd feel superior being able to spot anything moving inside their dorm room if he’d been on top.
Too bad his roomies already picked theirs without consulting him. In fact, they weren't budging at all from their beds. They gave him one look and that was it. No communication. Not what Natsu was expecting, especially since he wanted to make friends as soon as he can.
He took his phone out and accessed the campus wifi, typing his student number and passcode. Knowing the school’s social media, he was bound to see his list of classmates, what they look like and hopefully, meet his dream team. Team Natsu, he repeated in his head, snickering away to himself. They'd have fun, hang out all day, maybe go out for some drinks (even if he still doesn't know how to yet). But his hype was ruined when he heard shushing behind his back.
Natsu belonged in the Architecture program. He felt it. When he was little, he, well, loved hacking into computers. But over time, he developed a hidden talent, which was drawing. He wanted to become an artist. But sadly, his parents didn't encourage him to do so. He was, instead, placed under Architecture. Which was fine. He could still draw what he wanted. The problem is, he doesn't know a bunch of house structures. That's why he'd always end up drawing their house. For now, it's that, their dorm room and the university.
He’s going to have to consult with his Professor starting day one.

As it turns out, Erza was stuck in traffic. She was holding on to her luggage tight, afraid to lose anything in sight. She kept looking out the window, wondering what the fuss was about. Locating her phone, she searched google maps to find how far the campus was from where they were.
12 miles, it said.
She had plenty of time. She was confident. Turning on her tinder account to check out if any of her potential partners had responded. Erza never really let anyone use her phone due to this. No one knows a single thing about her interest in meeting her love life. She felt embarrassed.
Mirajane was online again. She hit her up.
Erza

Seeing as there was nothing to do in his room with two weirdos, he lurked out to plan a search where he could hang out to get away. Somewhere he could practice drawing and yet at the same time, feel free to make noise by himself.
The campus was bigger than when he first visited during his application for his course. And his entrance examinations. Apparently, it was on the top three universities that were the hardest to get into. Natsu felt lucky. Although, not as lucky since he had to take the entrance twice. People would glare at him, thinking he was a failure. But what really happened was that he woke up late and didn't make it to his schedule.
That's one college experience. Natsu thinks getting drunk at the bar would be the next big thing he ought to do as an adult.
“Excuse me,” Natsu was approached out of the blue. He felt the pressure. “Y-yes?” he politely answered.
“Do you know where the library is? I'm trying to find my way to apply for a job.”
There was an assisting job on campus and Natsu had no idea. This could be huge!
“Uhm,” Just tell him you don't know a crap about this school and that you're a freshman like he is. If he is a freshman. “Yeah, let's go this way.” You stupid idiot.
