2 - What if i love you?

« I don't think it's a good idea. » - i said sitting on a kitchen counter with my phone in my hand.
It was Mandy, we weren't as close as we used to be before.

She was planning on going to another party and maybe she was right, maybe I should go, but honestly I was so tired of pretending someone I am not.
I wanted to let everyone know who I really was and am.

« I still have to work on my project, it's almost the end of the semester . » - I said and then said goodbye putting my phone away.

It was nearly the end of the semester, summer around the corner.
It's been a few months since we stopped being closest friends, I finally understood I don't need to be friends with her to be somebody.
It's been a few months since I had the affair with Taeil, a few months that we both met up quite frequently without anyone knowing.
We weren't a thing.
I didn't feel emotionally ready to get into relationship, not to be left alone soon after getting into one.
We weren't just fucking, we became pretty close ever since that night.
Whenever I needed him he would come over and cheer me up with his dad jokes, whenever he felt down I would show up with food at his place, although everyone at the University still thought we were worst enemies.
I wanted to keep it that way.
People still believed that I am the hoe I was before, everyone believed that Taeil is a kind and good student and everyone believed we hated each other.

Today wasn't any different.
One week left till the holidays, everyone was so exhausted since it was exam period plus the projects and assignments were due to tomorrow evening.
I was studying in the library for my exam tomorrow, I was so focused I didn't notice it was quite late already.

SMS:
Taeil: Why aren't you home yet?

Y/n: How do you know that?

Taeil: Because it's been one hour since I am sitting in front of your door 😒

Taeil: You forgot right?🤨

Forgot? Forgot what? - i thought before I realised that we were supposed to work on our project together at my place tonight

Y/n: Of course not, i am just stuck in traffic 😖

Taeil: I know you're not 😂 I know you so well

Taeil: Where do you want me to pick you up?

Y/n: Library 😅😂

Taeil: Ill be there in 10 dummy

Y/n: Thank you baby 🥰

At least I don't have to call the taxi to get me - I thought to myself, plopping on the sofa that stood in the corner

In about 10 minutes Taeil arrived and has come to the library to pick me up, but little did he know I was already sad and sound asleep on the sofa.

He finally opens the door seeing you asleep on the old sofa standing I. The corner near some or bookshelves.

He took you bridal style to his car and laid you down in the passenger seat next to him driving you both to his place.

He laid you in his bed but before he leaves the you in the room you wake up.

He turns around smiling at you
« I didn't mean to wake you up. »
« It's okay, it's my fault. »
He sits on the bed's frame kissing your cheek and says:
« We were supposed to work on the project together, why do you overwork yourself that much? I don't want you to faint from lack of sleep. »
I giggled at his words and said: « You know we need best notes to graduate with a great score, yes? »
« Of course i do, but we still got time. You better take care of yourself, you didn't feel that good lately, perhaps this is the reason. »
