Deacon had been sitting in his cell for about three or four days or at least that's how long he thought it had been there weren't any windows in his cell so he couldn't be exactly sure Deacon hadn't been fed or had water in that time at first Deacon but on a brave face but he couldn't keep it up for much longer he was getting very weak "you still alive?"Micah said from the cell next door "just about"Deacon said, "Just barely are they starving you too?"Deacon said "as far as I can tell they are starving everyone on this block since your first night here it's made you quite the unpopular person Deacon," Micah said "so I need to watch my back when I get out of here got it, "Deacon said. "Listen, Deacon, all you have to do is trust me we can get out of here I swear, "Micah said, "you realise I don't have any reason to trust you right?"Deacon said "true but you don't have a lot of friends right now and I don't have any other options myself so I guess we are going to have to trust each other aren't we, "Micah said. Without warning a guard came to Micah's cell"Oscar has ordered me to bring you to him Micah" he said "stay the hell away from me" Micah said the guard opened the door and dragged Micah out of the cell by his neck "hey let him go!"Deacon said running to his cell door trying to aid Micah by reaching through the food slot in his cell "stay back prisoner" the guard said the guard pressed a button on his belt and Deacon's wristband injected him with something and he felt an extreme mind-numbing pain and Deacon was quickly immobilised falling onto his back unable to help as Micah was dragged away by the guard.
Suddenly all the lights in the cell block went out and every cell opened the red generator light kicked in and the inmate started to run wild killing guards and lighting fires three inmates went into Deacons cell and saw him there a drooling mess on the floor he was barely able to move much less defend himself whatever he had been injected with was causing his skin to turn grey like a Havoc's and his veins to become exposed and then recede over and over again. Two of them had names and were called Gus and Murphy the third just preferred to go by his number "this is the guy that's been costing us food" no. 3655 said " look at him he can barely see us it would be like picking on an old person hardly worth it" Gus said "shut it, Gus, if he's the reason we haven't been eating I'm going to at least take a finger"Murphy said creeping towards Deacon with a shank in his hand. "Leave him alone he is mine" said a woman standing behind the three men "piss off Kassandra we owe him this one Murphy said "oh wait is this really happening because I really hope it is"Kassandra said, Murphy turned his attention to Kassandra but Gus held him back " hold on Murphy do you know who she is? they don't call her the Red Queen for no reason"Gus said "I don't give a shit right now she is the bitch standing in the way of me getting payback on the asswipe that has caused me to go hungry for days and now she is going to pay for his mistake's"Murphy said Murphy lunged at Kassandra with his shank but she countered breaking his hand backwards and instantly cut Murphy's throat with the shank and a geyser of his blood splattered over her face as she did so without a hint of hesitation or remorse.
Gus tried to back away slowly "now Kass we were always cool I didn't start nothing" Gus said "true but you know me, Gus, I don't like to leave loose ends"Kassandra said with a demented smile on her face Gus swung a punch at Kassandra hitting her in the face but that just made her angry she exposed her red veins and her eyes changed to a bloodshot red she grabbed Gus by the throat pinning him to the wall with one arm and with the other punched through his ribcage tearing Gus's heart out Kassandra dropped the removed heart on the floor and her exposed vein's receded into her body and her eyes turned back to normal she took a knee in front of Deacon who was still unable to move and drifting in and out of consciousness "they hit you with toxin 4 I know all about that it is unpleasant it was made by that bastard Oscar to hold us in here but I have a feeling your going to be our way out of here until then I suppose it's my job to keep you alive"Kassandra said "who..are...you" Deacon said weakly "I'm here to help you"Kassandra responded she bit into her forearm until it bled Kassandra put Deacon's head in her lap and she began to feed her blood to Deacon "what...are you..doing"Deacon said trying to force her arm away from his mouth "Just drink it will heal you"Kassandra said Deacon obligied and drank the blood Deacon coughed up some of it "what..now"Deacon said "now...you die"Kassandra said Deacon began to shake violently he was having a seizure Kassabndra stood back up and walked away Deacon lost conciousness again.
When Deacon came to the next morning he felt much better Kassandra's blood had worked the corpses of the inmates had been removed from his cell by the guards and all the others that had got out during the power outage were back under lock and key Deacon stood up stretched "looks like I'm still alive" Deacon said Deacon saw a message left by Kassandra scrawled on the wall of his cell in fresh blood the message read "when the time comes to remember who your friends are don't forget about me" "what the hell"Deacon said "hey Deacon you ok what's going on"Micah said "Micah your alive"Deacon replied "yeah they threw me back in here not long ago" Micah said "I heard there was some kind of power failure on this block what happened"Micah said "wish I could tell you I was kind of out of it but I think your friend saved me"Deacon said "if you want my advice don't confuse her intentions she only kept you alive because you must have something she wants" Micah stated "well I don't"Deacon said "trust me you do or she would have left you to die"Micah said "knowing Kass I'm sure we will be seeing her again very soon" Micah said "I hope your right we might need her"Deacon said "trust me you'd better pray I'm wrong" Micah "let's just say she dosent play well with others
