"Good enough for you?" Kristan asked, running her fingers through my hair once more.

I put my phone down looking up into the mirror, "Yep."

"It's go time!" Andrew called out.

I spun around in my chair, hopping up to grab my navy blue blazer.

"Thank you everyone!" I spoke up amongst the sea of people scattered around the hotel room.

I earned a round of applause before following my team out the door.

"The car's out front, you have a good half hour before the attendants are expecting your arrival." Geoff said.

I nodded and looked around acknowledging an absence.

"Where is she?" I questioned as I followed security down the hallway.

Hands then wrapped around my bicep, a familiar warmth clinging to my side.

"Looking for me?" Her soft voice spoke.

I jumped a bit, startled at her sudden presence. I then backed away to take a quick look at her.

She wore a navy evening gown to match my jacket tone. The dress hugged her curves, letting loose to flow just above her knees.

Her light brown hair held soft curls and a golden glisten within the lighting.

"Honey, you look just divine this evening." I smiled as my eyes raked up and down her every feature.

Her sun kissed skin so soft under her glowing highlight and flushed cheeks.

"So lovely." I spoke delicately, holding my hand out to her.

"You look pretty sharp yourself." She winked, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

She grabbed onto my hand, intertwining our fingers and pulling me back to her.

I kissed the top of her head and squeezed her hand in mine.

"We're gonna have a wonderful evening." I said causing her to nod and place the side of her head on my shoulder as we began to walk down to the front lobby.

"Elle! You almost forgot your handbag!" A stylist shouted from down the hall.

Elle looked at me a hint of guilt in her eyes, "I um...would it be alright if I didn't bring it tonight?" She asked.

"Well I assume so but what about your lip gloss? And your liner? You can't hold them on the carpet." Regan questioned frantically as she pulled out the tube of lip gloss.

She placed it back in the bag and attempted to hand it to Elle but she denied, pushing it away from her.

"I'm not much of a lip gloss girl anyway." Elle grinned, shifting uncomfortably in her heels.

Regan nodded in frustration and walked off.

"Not much of a lip gloss girl?" I smirked raising an eyebrow, "What about the time you lost your lip gloss in my car?" I teased.

"I just didn't like the handbag ok?" She snapped trying her best to stay serious and hold back a laugh.

I crossed my arms and stood back once again, smiling at her as I took in the view of her.

"What?" She giggled pushing her hair to the side.

As I opened my mouth to answer, Geoff spun me around to face him.
