Klyra's P.O.V💫

Peter closes the door of his room. He stands back to me, as if he feared I would see him in this state. All the members of his body are shaking. I feel he is anxious, he can not hide anymore. Slowly, I go to him.

"Peter" I said.

Suddenly, as if he feel my presence, he turn around. He does not expect me to be so close to him. Shyly, he steps back before shaking his head from side to side.

"I feel you're stressed, do you want to talk about it?"

"No... it's ok... all is well." He said, raising his head sharply.

But his hands prove the opposite to me: they tremble. When he understands that I saw them, he tied them behind his back.

"I guess it's not easy for you to be here, to be away from home."

"Indeed, it is not." He said while sitting on his bed. "Never in my life, I imagined myself returning to space."

"It must be strange to discover our planet." I pause. "I mean, nothing looks like Earth."

"Xyon is really a beautiful planet." He blows.

He restrains himself from yawning. I understand immediately that he is very tired.

"I'll let you rest." I said. "All you need is in the closet next to you. If you're hungry, you can call me." I show him a red button on the bedside table. "I'll bring you some food."

"Thank you, Klyra, I appreciate your kindness."

I smile at him then I head for the front door. Once my hand is on the door, I take a look behind my shoulder. I watch Peter take off his shirt. I stay a few seconds here before realizing that I do not have to be there.
I leave his room by closing the door.
I go down the hall and think back to the discussion I just had with Peter. I really do not know what the future holds, but I know it's our solution. Unlike Kyatt, I have full confidence in him. And I know it's not easy for him to be here, away from home, away from Earth.

"So, did you talk to him?" Asks Kyatt.

He comes out of the shadows in the hallway. He was waiting for me. I speed up, not wishing to hear him criticize Peter.

"You know, you can answer me!" He blows.

I sigh. Angry, I turn sharply to him, crossing my arms over my chest.

"What? What do you want to hear, Kyatt?"

He frowns, he does not seem to understand my reaction. I cautiously advance towards him, putting myself at his height.

"I trust him, I know he will save us."

"You hardly know him, it's completely stupid!" He retorted, looking away.

"The ridiculous thing is to criticize someone you do not know!!" I sighed, rolling my eyes.

Kyatt turns his attention back to me.

"Come on, I've talked enough with you, I have something else to do."

"Wait for Klyra! Where do you intend to go?"

I turn my back on him, tying my hair.

"It does not concern you!"

Then without adding anything else, I hasten to leave the building.
When I find myself outside, I feel the wind seep into my tied hair. I raise my head and look at the sky. It's yellow, I decide to go for a walk in town.
I take the usual path past my house. I bypass part of the neighborhood where Kyatt lives, then I plunge into an alley that leads me directly to downtown. The more minutes pass and the more I realize that the sky is darkening. I continue my way greeting people I recognize.
At the corner of Forty-two, I meet my two best friends, Leona and Travis. They offer me their most beautiful smiles before advancing towards me.

"Klyra! How are you ?" Says Leona throwing herself into my arms. "Travis and I are aware of the mission entrusted to you! Why did not you tell us earlier?"

"Talking about what?" I said, taking Travis in my arms.

"Talk about your dreams finally!!!" Exclaims Leona, making big gestures. "I have been very worried about you lately! It's true, you seemed completely elsewhere!"

"Leona make crates!" Travis jokes, rubbing his black hair. "You know how she is."

"And what!" Leona moans, tapping her gently on the shoulder, the only part of her body that she can reach since she is twenty centimeters shorter than him.

"All is well." I said, amused by their reactions. "And if I explained all that to you, over a drink?"

"Good idea!" Travis answered. "I'm dying of thirst!"
