Peter's P.O.V🕷

A few minutes later, a huge building, even higher than the buildings, stands before my eyes. He seems to cross the sky as he is tall. I am amazed by this facade made of large windows. I glance at Klyra, she seems to have calmed down because the sky is yellow again.
I then turn my attention to the huge gray door of the palace that opens, I am overwhelmed by so much beauty. The floor and walls are made of marble, everything is huge inside. It's so spacious that I do not know where to turn. Kyatt invites me to follow him, Klyra walks a little behind me. She still seems upset by the questions I asked her.
I let myself be guide in countless corridors always as spacious as each other. Before stopping in front of a glass door. Kyatt gets in front and a woman's voice echoes in the corridor.

"Your name please?"

"Kyatt Mellbrock, the sparrow."

"Well, you can enter."

I follow him. We are in a room smaller than the others, with a huge table like the one in the spaceship. Kyatt pulls a chair back before ordering me to sit on it. I am siting in silence, Klyra imitates me wisely. As for Kyatt, he stays behind me.
In just a few minutes, the door through which we entered opens again, leaving room for a man dressed entirely in red, with a long white cloak on his shoulders. I understand that he is the King when I look at his magnificent crown. I greet him with a nod. He sits in front of me, two other boys sit next to him.

"I am King Korn, I suppose you are Peter Parker, the spider man I've heard so much about months ago."

I am confuse but at the same time intimidated that a king from another planet that I do not even know has knowledge of my existence.

"It's me."

"Happy to know you." He declares.

I stop for a moment on the details of his atypical physics. His graying hair under his crown is cut short. His gray eyes are also marked by heavy dark circles. His rather big nose, masks the fact that he does not have a lot of lips.

"Thanks Klyra for picking him up on Xyon, it must have been an exhausting journey, was not it?" Question the King.

"A rather long trip!" Agrees Klyra.

"Well, now, let's talk about serious things."

Against all odds, the king gets up. He nods to Kyatt, who presses a button next to the door, and the wall in front of me disappears. Leaving room for a huge window that overlooks a good part of Xyon. I distinguish all kinds of buildings as huge as each other. I begin to feel choking.

"I guess you had never heard of our planet until now, I'm wrong, Peter?"

I shake my head negatively. It's true indeed.

"That does not surprise me." He continues. "Xyon is only very little known by the rest of the universe. And yet, a huge danger hangs over us. A danger that threatens the entire population of Xyon."

"What is this threat?" I ask, curious to know my mission.

"It turns out that we, the birds of Fine, are guardians of the birds everywhere in the universe wherever they are. As you must have already seen with Kyatt, we, inhabitants of Xyon, have the faculty to transform us into birds. It is for this reason that at the age of sixteen, a ceremony exists where future adults discover their breeds of birds. This is a key moment in our lives."

I understand that this ceremony is very important to them, but I still do not understand why I'm here.

"I see you frown, Peter. Did you know that if all the birds come to disappear, then life itself will be reduced to nothing forever, the king said with a preoccupied air. My kid, you managed to kill Thanos, you will be able to conquer..."

"I did not kill Thanos," I said sharply.

"Well, it seems to me that you were there at the moment of his death."

"I was there indeed, like many others... but the true savior of the universe is... Tony Stark."

I lower my head. To evoke his name gives me the effect of a stab in my heart. I bleed from the inside. I am deeply hurt. An emotion of sadness and deep emptiness settles in me. I find unsurprisingly the knot in the stomach that I had a few days after his disappearance.

"Sad to hear it from your mouth my kid, but we know about it." Gently throws the king. "I see that he was very importanf for you!"

I simply agree. I have no desire to expand on the subject.

"Not long ago" he said, understanding my discomfort. "A chemical has gone through our atmosphere and has been housed in a school. All our birds are dead."

"Or our children if you prefer." Klyra whispers to me, knowing that I can sometimes be lost to their language.

The king glances at her before sitting down in front of me.

"It was tragic and terrible." He said brusquely. "The eagle, which possessed the faculty of crossing the atmosphere, communicated to my army important information concerning our enemy. He was aboard one of our old spaceship. It's one of ours. The eagle was able to identify him before being attacked. He died recently because of his wounds. It's called Dark-Man. Its goal ? Eliminate our planet as well as all the birds of the universe. You are our only hope, boy."

Am I really the only hope? What is he expecting from me?

"I do not see how I could be useful to you." I said.

"We have tried to hunt him down." Confesses the king with a pout. "But twice he has escaped us. You have a lot of resources, Peter, you're the only one who can capture him. He does not know you. He has never heard of you, he ignores the very existence of the Spiderman."

"Where is he?"

"The last time he was seen, it was this morning, in his ship not far from Xyon." The king said hoarsely. "Be careful, Peter, he is overprotected."

I look away.

"When am I going to find him?"

"Soon!" Agrees the King.
