The inn would be better off called a glorified tavern. Loud raucous drunks fill the lobby, all shouting and hollering at each other for one reason or another. Women filter through the crowd, offering pleasure to any men who wish to partake in their particular services. Large oak stairs lead up to other floors where bedrooms for the wicked are provided. As soon as Jungkook and Taehyung enter the inn, Taehyung clings to Jungkook's arm, his gold eyes wide with fear and shock and anxiety. He's never seen anything like this. Never seen men so inebriated that they are fighting or making out or making love, not caring who is watching them bury themselves in the nearest willing participant. Some drunk men notice him, their eyes flashing with lust, yet they don't approach for Jungkook wraps an arm around Taehyung's waist, clearly marking that the prince belongs to him. He leads Taehyung to a desk off to the right of all the chaos where a large woman sits, twirling an ink quill in her fingers.

"Welcome!" she bellows, her eyes widening as she catches a good look at the two of them, "My, my, what luck! I've never had two such attractive gentlemen in my establishment before! What can I do for you?"

"I need a room with a tub. Just one night," Jungkook demands, setting a small amount of coin on the counter that the woman eagerly grabs. She pockets it before grabbing a key from the side of the desk.

"Of course, of course! Shall I throw some company in for this evening?" she asks, emphasizing the word in a way that has Jungkook scowling.

"That will not be needed. Thank you," he coldly says, taking the key from her hand before she can even rebuttal, "What room?"

"Sixteen..." she grumbles, letting the two men walk away without pushing them further. Taehyung looks up at Jungkook with curious eyes, and a small frown on his lips.

"What did she mean by company...? Why did you seem so disgusted?" Taehyung asks, shocked by the feeling of Jungkook's hand on the small of his back once again.

"Those women are for sex," Jungkook blatantly says, "They are hired by men for their services only to steal from them later on," he adds before finding their door and unlocking it instantly. Taehyung's cheeks flush red, shocked that there is a business like that out there. He follows Jungkook inside the room, his thoughts interrupted when he notices only one bed in the middle of the room and a tub off to the left side. There's no partition for the tub, and when Jungkook wanders over to it and starts the water, Taehyung instantly looks away. He doesn't want to breach the king's privacy even if they are stuck in this small room together.

"Taehyung," the king calls, and instantly the prince looks up at him, "Come here." Hesitantly, Taehyung goes over to the king, standing several feet away from him. Jungkook looks over him, his eyes observing every inch of his body in a cold and analytical manner. Yet it still has Taehyung trembling, his hands clenched to his sides while waiting for Jungkook to act again.

"Lift your foot," Jungkook demands, amused by the confusion flashing on Taehyung's face before he slowly lifts his foot. Jungkook kneels, looking at the bottom of Taehyung's feet with an emotionless face, "As expected...you injured them—"

"It isn't that big of a deal, Your Majesty..." Taehyung interjects, moving his foot so Jungkook's rough hand is no longer holding the sensitive skin. Jungkook stares at him, his eyes still that cold, unreadable, mask that Taehyung is coming to hate.

"If they get infected, you won't be able to walk. Let alone travel. You will bathe first. I'll get us something to eat," Jungkook demands, storming out of the room and leaving Taehyung in absolute silence. He never expected Jungkook to be chivalrous...is that what this is? Or is it because he wants to use his body at all times, and he can't do that if Taehyung is sick...Taehyung shakes his head, getting all those thoughts out of his mind as he approaches the tub.
