"Have you ever two been on a golf course?" Troy asked me and Gabriella
"We're employees, Troy, not members." Gabriella reminded him
"And I don't play golf." I told him "Wait do you play golf Troy?" I asked confused and almost laughing.
"No, I don't sis. And who said anything about playing golf?" Troy asked.
I just looked even more confused as he leads us to the golf course. I just wish I was home.....
Lava Springs Golf Course
"Nooooooo, can't me and Ryan just stay under the tree and laugh at you two?" I asked Troy as he dragged me with him and Gab.
"You sure it's okay to be out here?" Gabriella asked, I just rolled my eyes.
"Unless the jackrabbit turns us in!" Troy joked.
"Haha, your so funny Troy" I said making him hit my arm.
The Course
"So, how's kitchen duty?" Gabriella asked.
"The team that washes dishes together, wins together." Troy told her.
Me and Ryan were a little away from them and under a tree like I said I wanted. So I looked at him trying to see what he was thinking.
"So Ryan, today they told me I'll be teaching kids how to sing and helping Gabriella in the pool" I said to him eating an apple.
"Really?" Ryan said looking happy.
"Why did you told him to change my work?" I asked him like it was nothing.
He was surprised and looked at me "Uh......because.....I wanted to help?"
I look at him holding his hand "Babe, I love you and I know you love me back. But you need to let me do my work to get where I want" I said.
"But..." Ryan began.
"Okay?" I asked him.
He nodded his head and rested his head on my shoulder as I looked at the sky.
"My mom said summer jobs look good on college applications." Gabriella told us.
"All part of that frightening concept called the future." Troy told her.
"You sound a little worried." Ryan pointed out at them, then looked at me "You worried too?"
"Yes, college costs a fortune, love. We are trying to save all that we have, unlike people that come here to have fun. No offense" I said looking at Ryan and kissing his head, he smiled.
"Non taken." Ryan said.
"Troy, you're a cinch for a scholarship." Gabriella told him.
"He is" I nodded my head as I turned the rest of the conversation out.
I just looked at the blue sky, it's such a good day today. Ryan then got up helping me get up, I dusted out my clothes and followed him as he just walked holding my hand. I looked at him as it looked like he was talking with me about something.
Then he smiled "You weren't listening right?"
"Nope.....I was listening to the sky?" I asked laughing making him laugh and lean to kiss me.
Out of nowhere sprinklers came on and soaked all of us. We laughed as we run and play around like little kids.
Mr. Fulton comes on the course with a mad face. The four of us got in line like it was military.
"This is a private club, not a water park! We exist to serve our membership. Employees will do well to remember their place. Clear? Late back from your break today, now frolicking on the golf course. We're not off to an auspicious start." Mr.Fultons old us.
"Come on Fulton. They were on their break, it was just a little fun" Ryan told him.
"Mr.Evans you of all people should know that these sorts of activities are prohibited on the golf course." Mr.Fulton told him.
Ryan looked down holding my hand as I looked at them sadly. I told we shouldn't have come here.
