"I'm sorry. I can't."
Everyone was left without words - even Chloé who had a nag about anything was left dumb-founded.
Miss Bustier (who had seemingly noticed the sudden shift in the air) stood up once the bus had halted and clapped her palms together. "Okay, everyone! Please unbuckle your seatbelts and take your luggage from the overhead bins once you leave your seats!"
One by one, each row had climbed out of their chairs and found their plane buddies.
Marinette being situated with Adrien quickly stepped down from the coach and lead Alya away by a link of their arms, interrupting whatever conversation her and Nino were having.
Before Alya could start, Marinette blabbered, "Please sit with me on the flight. Please, please, please-" paused to take a break -"I don't think I can look at him. Oh my God, Alya! I messed up. I messed up big."
"Marinette, pull yourself together!" Alya slightly whacked the girl in question around the back of her head. "What the hell happened on that bus?! Adrien! The Adrien! The Adrien you've been crushing on for the last however many years asked you to prom and you rejected him! What is going on inside your head?!"
Alya's outburst obviously shocked Marinette, as she snapped her jaw shut and pursed her lips.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, if you don't give me a good reason for rejecting the man of your dreams I am going to march up to that little blonde pleb and ask him myse-"
"No!" Marinette snapped a little too loudly, drawing looks to the pair as they dragged their suitcases across the car park. "I can't... tell you."
"And why's that exactly?"
"It's - a secret."

Hey hey. Back at it again with another nearly update
I hope everyone's staying safe! I've obviously been given some free time so I decided to pick up this account again. Hopefully, I'll stay true to my word and update every other week. Please don't hold me to this, though!
I'm so thankful that there is actually people still sticking around for this - but I have a question. Would you rather me rewrite the first crappy chapters, or for me to continue with the story?
I have the next four chapters planned out so either option is fine with me
