Lol sorry
I steadily breathe through my mouth as I unlink arms with Alya. I nod at her, signalling that I'm fine.
Shakily, I lift my hand and knock on room 378. I had no reply, and after a few minutes of the door not opening, I tiptoe to see inside of the peep hole.
The room was empty, and I add too much pressure onto it before making the door swing open, causing me to fall flat onto my face.
"Ow, fu- Adrien? You in here?" I call, clambering up from the floor and walking towards the open window, the curtains flowing in the wind. "Adrien?"
The sky was awfully dark that night. I remember the stars shining dull, and the moon painted over by clouds.
I walk to the edge of the balcony and and grip the railings, the wind blowing at my hair. In the distance: a black figure, crouching on a tower.
I squint.
"Chat?" I shout, waving at him. "Chat Noir!" I eventually get his attention. "Come in!"
I walk into room and sit on the freshly made bed, my mind racing.
"Princess," Chat purred, swinging through the window, "And how may I help you on this fine evening?"
I furrow my eyebrows. "My head hurts," I breathe, "I think one thing, and then I'm being proved wrong, yet every action they do, it proves it right. Does that make sense?"
He stares at me for a while. "It does to me. And what was it you was thinking about, exactly?"
"Honestly," I sigh, "you."
"Me?"
"Yeah, you. You confuse me so much.. I don't even know what to think anymore. It can't be true....you're so.. different but similar at the same time."
"Similar? To who?"
"Adrien Agresté," I say, Chat's eyes slightly widening, "tell me this: is it just a coincidence that you're here the same time as me? Adrien suddenly disappears, and now you show up?"
"I..uh-"
"Chat," I whisper, "you have no reason to lie to me."
"Princess, I can't assure you that I'm not this..Adrien," Chat chuckles.
"Oh..then I've just made a complete fool of myself.." I stutter, covering my face in my hands, "I'm so sorry."
Just then, my head bolts up. There I was, laying in my hotel room. Sabrina in the corner snoring, and Alya, next to me in the other bed, heavily breathing.
Tension got caught in my throat, and I cough. The curiosity drove me insane. Somehow, I remembered every single thing in which happened in my dream.
Clutching my arms, I pace across the room to the door before opening it. I walk through the hallway to the room labelled 378. I push the door open, being greated with Adrien standing at the balcony.
He mutters a few words before being engulfed in a green light.
I choke on the air I was inhaling.
"Marinette-!" Adri- Chat? whisper-shouts. "This really isn't what you think, I swear! I just-"
"I had a dream that you were Chat Noir!" I shout, so quickly that I'm surprised he even had any clue what I said. "And-! And I thought it was just because-- because-"
I choke on my words again. I felt my cheeks get hot, and my eyes watering up.
"Mari-- are you crying? Am I.. not good enou-?"
"No!" I shout, wiping the tears from my eyes. "I'm just.. I'm happy. My two favourite people turned out to be one person.."
