"Sam...""Yeah, Sarg" Sam says, as she watches Hanks gaze go down to her stomach and she quickly removes her hand from said area.
"Is there something else you need to tell me?"
Sam hesitated as Hank's desk phone rings and he answers, still looking at the raven haired girl.
"Voight...okay, we'll be right there" Hank hangs up the phone and gets up from his chair, grabbing his jacket, "We caught a crime scene. Let's go"
🌙🌙🌙
Hank and Sam meet up with the rest of the team at the crime scene.
"Neighbor heard gunshots. Called it in" a patrolman tells Hank and Sam.
"So, you're the responding officer?" Sam asks.
"I was"
"Alright, Bob. Thanks" Hank says, patting the patrolman on the shoulder, as him and Sam head inside the house followed by the rest of the team, who sees a dead woman and a young girl, practically fanned out on the carpet.
"Lucy Denton, the mom" the responding officer says, walking up the stairs who Sam found out is Bob Ruzek -Adams dad-, "Daughters name is Shelby. Lucy knew somebody at the mayor's office, which is why you guys got called in, I guess"
"Husband live here?" Dawson asks.
"Uh, yeah, Wes Denton, husband and father, don't know where he is, doesn't answer his phone and there's an eight year old son, Jordan, don't know where he is"
"Silva from homicide said they found casings from a Smith and Wesson. Same caliber registered to Wes Denton" Al says.
"I found an open gun case in the master closet. Gun was gone" Bob says.
"Motion detectors, window sensors is top of the line security system" Atwater says, walking back into the living room, "Do you know if the alarm was set?"
"Technician tells me it is. So, whoever entered has access to the code" Bob says.
"Or they forced someone to enter it" Dawson suggests.
"Yeah, or that"
"Hey, you get a ping on the father's phone or GPS?" Voight asks Adams Dad, but he looks confused, "Got a location?"
