i just couldnt stop thinking
about what happened

i tried everything to get
myself to fall asleep.. hot tea,
reading, meditating, soft
music, counting sheep, or
bunnies as you used to say

i stayed up all night just
staring at the ceiling

the glow in the dark stars that
you stuck up there only made
me think of you more

do you remember that night?

you insisted we stop by that
convenience store on the way
home. it was completely out
of the blue

and i was getting annoyed
cause i was tired as hell and
just wanted to go home and
sleep

but seeing your smile after
buying those stars and
sticking them all on my
ceiling was worth it
