*Raven's POV*
"Raven!" Jake exclaimed dropping the grocery bags and hugging me tightly, stealing the spot next to me from CC.
"Hey uncle Jakey." I said, hugging him back.
"I was sitting next to Raven." CC said flicking the back of Jake's head.
"Shut up." He said, rolling his eyes. "Raven, help me put the groceries away please."
"Okay." I got up grabbing the bags and putting the groceries into the cabinet.
"Thanks Rave." I smiled In return just as he finished putting his last bag away.
"Okay done." I closed the cabinet and went over to the couch.
"Come sit on my lap Rave." CC said. I smiled and walked over to the couch, sitting on CC's lap. Because there was no more room on the couch.
"I'm cold." I whispered to myself wrapping my arms around CC's neck. I didn't really want anyone to hear me because I didn't want them to worry about me anymore than they already had been.
"Here sweetheart." Ashley said putting the blanket that was on the couch over me and CC.
"Thanks." I smiled and snuggled closer to CC. Sense the blanket was really small and thin, I was still kinda cold.
"We really miss-" Jake was about to say but got cut off by a moan. All of us turned our heads to the door seeing my dad and Stacy making out. I made a disgusted face and buried my head in CC's chest, trying to block out the moaning and grunting.
"Hey!" I heard Ashley say. I looked up and my dad and Stacy had pulled away, looking at us like we were stupid.
"What!?" Stacy yelled. I shook my head. "bitch" I mumbled putting my head back into CC's chest. CC chuckled and started to carry me upstairs so that I didn't hear the rest of the conversation.
"You look stressed. Want a cigarette?" CC asked, setting me down and opening his window.
I nodded. "Yes, I haven't had one in forever." I said, quickly taking a cigarette from him and lighting it.
"Don't sit on the roof, it's a little chilly out and it's supposed to rain." I nodded, scooting closer to CC and laying my head on his lap.
"I missed you Raven." CC said sadly, pushing my hair out of my face and looking down at me.
"I know, I'm sorry. Don't make me feel guilty, okay?"
"What did you do in there?" My eyes widened. Did he know about me cutting?
"Cried." I lied.
"Because of your dad?" I nodded, throwing my cigarette out the window.
"He's such an asshole." CC muttered under his breath, but I still heard him.
"I know, I miss him."
"What do you mean?"
"I miss doing things with him. Ya know like when I was little? Remember all the things we would do together?" I asked, a couple tears coming to my eyes.
CC nodded, "Yeah, sweetheart. I remember." CC looked down at me and wiped my tears away with his sleeve.
"Can I have another one?" I asked.
"I don't know, Raven.''
''Plea-" i was about to ask but was cut off by a cough. I tried to speak again but continued to cough and it hurt like a motherfucker.
My whole chest and throat hurt when i coughed. I turned around and buried my face into CC's lap as i started to cry but bit my lip to stop the loud cries from escaping my mouth.
