*Kellin's POV*
Once I got to school today, I gave up on ever seeing Raven again. She hasn't been to school or talked to me in four weeks. She could've moved schools. Maybe she didn't like me. It was the middle of 2nd hour when I asked the teacher to go to the bathroom.
She excused me but instead of going to the bathroom I went outside and sat on the bench to get some fresh air. I looked up from where I was sitting and saw Raven with some guy.
She just kissed his cheek. Twice. Is that her boyfriend? Jealousy fumed inside of me. I love Raven. She was so gorgeous and I was a very jealous person so once I saw her boyfriend I just wanted to run back inside and cry but I stayed there.
"Hey, Raven." I said, getting up and standing in front of her.
"Hey." She said, hugging me tightly around my neck. "I missed you so much." She said and I smiled. She missed me!
"I missed you too." I pulled away from the hug and smiled at her.
"Was that your boyfriend?" I asked. I just needed to know.
"Eww, gross, no. That's my uncle. Kinda he's more like a cooler older brother." Oh, That's her Uncle.
God, I feel stupid."Come here." She said, grabbing my hand and pulling me behind the school. I stopped her though.
She stopped, looking at me a little confused and hurt. "I can't." I had to get back to class. I just said I had to go to the bathroom. Who takes this long to piss?
"Why not?"
"I have to get back to class. I have gym next period so maybe then?"
"Okay." She said "See you next period." Raven smiled then went to the back of the school.

"Hey." I said to Raven sitting down next to her outside. She had a cigarette in her hand, smiling at me.
"Hey, Kells." I hated cigarettes. My father used to burn me with them when 'I needed to be punished' as he would say.
"Whatcha ya doin'? I asked.
"Smoking. Want one?" She asked pulling a cigarette out of her bag.
I shook my head quickly. "No, No thanks."
"Whatever." She shrugged her shoulders and put the cigarette back in her purse, continuing to smoke.
"Who gives you those anyways?"
"My uncle." She said.
"And your mom and dad doesn't care that you smoke."
"My mom left me and my dad when I was very young and my dad doesn't give a shit about what I do."
She threw her cigarette out and I looked at her. Raven's eyes were glistening and then she started crying. I scooted over to her and hugged her tightly, rubbing her back.
"What's bothering you?" She pulled away and looked up at me before speaking.
"I don't know there's just a lot going on right now. My dad's girlfriend is pregnant, My dad hates me, I never see my aunt and uncle anymore and School is just hell right now."
"I'm sorry. Why haven't you been to school in the past couple of weeks?" I was very curious as to why she hasn't been here but I didn't think she would tell me.
"This is very hard for me to talk about, but um I-I locked myself in my room for so long and didn't talk to any of my family because I was kidnapped and raped by one of the boys that go to school here. And I'm so afraid to go back in there so I stay out here like the coward I am."
"I think you're very brave to come back here after such a horrible thing happened to you. You are the strongest girl I know." I said leaning forward to kiss her forehead.
"Really?" She asked, looking up at me.
"Really."
"Thanks Kellin. Not only for that but for being such a good friend to me. I really appreciate it." She smiled, hugging me tightly around my neck and placing a soft kiss on my cheek.
"No problem, Raven. I love being your friend."She smiled, wiping her tears.
It was awkward for a long time after that and I was trying to think of something to say then It was like a light bulb went off in my head.
"Do you want to continue with the tutoring thing."
"What tutoring thing?"
"Ya know. Remember how I'm teaching you how to read and write and stuff?"
"Oh yeah." She said, nodding then laughing to herself.
"Let's do it." I said, getting my books out and putting them on her lap.

*Raven's POV*
For the rest of the school day I sat on Kellin's lap learning how to read and write. It was kinda awkward and kinda cute but I did that until someone came to pick me up.
"Hey Rave." I heard someone say behind us. It sounded like woman. What woman knew my name?
I turned around and gasped. "Sammi!" I squealed, jumping off Kellin's lap and hugging her tightly.
"Who's this?" Sammi asked, pulling away from our hug.
"Oh, this is Kellin, Kellin this is my aunt, Sammi." Kellin smiled and waved and Sammi did the same.
"So are you picking me up today?" I asked. She nodded and smiled.
"Yep. Uncle Jinxx is there waiting for you."
"Awesome!" I said. I went over to Kellin and grabbed my bag.
"See you tomorrow, maybe." I smiled at Kellin, hugging him then kissing his cheek.
"Okay. Bye Raven, see you tomorrow." He screamed as I started to walk towards Sammi's car with her. I turned and waved before getting in the car.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Sammi smirked, starting the car.
"No." I laughed. "He's not. We're just friends."
"Friend's don't sit on friend's lap's." She laughed.
"Whatever." I said, shrugging my shoulders and pulling out the other cigarette CC gave me.
Sammi looked at me then playfully rolled her eyes. "You don't mind, do you?" I asked, sarcastically.
She shook her head, smiling then turned on the radio. "Does CC give you those things?" Sammi asked. I nodded.
She scoffed. "Those things are nasty. Jinxx used to smoke them and I could barley breathe."
"Well it's an addiction, and you can't just get rid of your addiction like that." I said, demonstrating by snapping my fingers.
"I know. It took a while for your Uncle to quit." I nodded. I don't even remember him ever smoking.
"Speaking of your uncle." She said, pulling into the driveway. I smiled widely, throwing my cigarette out the window. It feels like I never get to see him.
Sammi unlocked the door and walked in. What we saw is something we would never expect.
"Jeremy!"
