Caught in a Lie

1, 2, Freddy's coming for you

I stretch my arms as we all leave the van. We cut the live stream a few minutes ago once we got closer to our destination. I was super excited to be shooting a new music video especially with the perfect shooting location for the nightmare scene. A little after I started Youtube, and with the help of some of my closest friends, we created a music video series relating to the Five Nights at Freddy's series. Each member of the band had a similar character that related the the series and the lore behind it. Thankfully Scott supported the videos we created or of it. He even helped give our characters flesh in the lore and told us to be on the look out for Easter eggs he made just for us. The music videos helped bring more attention to the franchise and it will forever be awesome to see the fans create theories and canon ideas. It is true that sometimes creators will just create plot holes to see what the fans will create out of it. I don't see why we had to leave the interview so early though. We are right on schedule and everything is going according to plan so far. What is up Liz's sleeve?
"Don't think too hard, boss. You'll hurt yourself." My tinniest partner in crime pops up behind me, the biggest grin on her face. She didn't quite care for the franchise but the element of horror was her favorite of the music videos we created. That and seeing me act as my "counter part" the fans named Mariah will forever be much funnier before the effects are set up. It's always so awkward to act out a seizure effect and not laugh at my efforts.
I roll my eyes at her and proceed to narrow them.
"Ma'am, why you gotta be mean to me?"
She giggles and pretends she's innocent by looking away.
"It's way too fun not to."
"I see how it is."
Nickolas pats my shoulder, effectively scaring me for a moment at the sudden notion.
"It's not being mean necessarily. It's more like..."
He motions to the creepy building in front of us as he continues. "Well placed love. But you'll have to remind me, which scenes are we shootings again?"
I grab the binders with the shooting schedule as Elizebeth starts to send the camera and light crew inside. We all follow her as I explain the plan.
"Well first we are going to shoot the nightmare scene with a pan shot from the right frame while I'm in my 'normal' state with you guys playing the ghosts role in the shadows. Eventually my character is visited by Mariah but for most of the over-the-shoulder shots are going to be the back of Natasha's head."
"Sweet." Amber cheers from behind me. "It's been a while since we've done a creepy over-the-shoulder effect. I wonder if we'll have enough time to shoot some shots for our Rap video. Did Liz's wife agree to playing the Puppet part?"
"Oh yeah! I forgot to tell y'all that! She's super excited and I can't wait to shoot that scene."
Elizabeth turns over her shoulder towards us.
"One project at a time, kid. Let's focus on summoning Mariah for the moment. We don't have much time to get the right shots."
My group and I pause for a moment.
"She's planning something."
"Yep."
"You guys aren't gonna tell me...are you?"
"Nope."
"Well frick."
