The interview that started it all

I smooth the folds of my dress down in a nervous fidget. One of my bestest friends, now my agent, stood beside me in a very similar dress to my own. She gently elbows me in the side to catch my attention.
"Stop fidgeting. You look lovely dear." She quotes as I roll my eyes.
"Now is not the time for a Narnia quote, woman."
She shrugs and grins.
"I thought it was always the time for quotes and puns. Would you rather I make a pun to ease your nerves?"
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in and try to smooth out my stomach again, suddenly feeling self conscious.
"Puns sound quite nice right about now." I mutter to myself, trying not to listen to the sound of fans on the other side of the studio. In under a year, I managed to turn myself from a barely known YouTuber and voice actor to a worldwide music video star and editor. My closest friends turned into one of the greatest rock bands of our time and moved away to pursue their careers in another state. Whilst little old me stayed behind with two of my greatest friends. One became my agent due to a certain situation and her wife became one of the most renown voice actors I know. For the moment, I live with them and everything is going wonderful.
I run through all that happened in my life recently as the show host started her bit. I wanted to leave the audience wanting more but stay on topic too. I had a bad habit of going on tangents which lead me to asking Elizabeth to come on stage with me for some of my interviews. The audience loved her and her wife. Sometimes I joke they watch my videos only for them but I think my fails and fangirling bring them back. I giggle to myself remembering a certain time I fangirled to a Kpop video. Elizabeth make sure of it to find the most deadly videos for my tiny heart to watch and my audience enjoys my pain. I think that might have started this whole ordeal actually.
"And now, I want to bring out a new friend of mine. She's been on YouTube for over five years and her fan base has grown to a whopping 17 thousand in the matter of weeks."-
The crowd cheers loudly and I feel heat rise to my cheeks.
"-She's super shy but super sweet. Please welcome Miss Maria Hernandez!"
"It's show time kid." Elizabeth nods ahead while the producer waves me on. I take a deep breath and hold my head up time.
"Bring it on Ellen. It's show time."
