Over my past relationships
of all my cries and other tears—
I learned a thing that shattered me.
Do not love a broken heart.
Don't love for they are broken
and you might get hurt
while picking up the pieces for them.
Don't love for they are vulnerable
for they tend to fall apart
the more we tried to
make it up for them.
Do not love a broken heart
because you should not complete them
for they need someone who will complement them.
Do not love a broken heart
to save yourself
from brokenness.
