Accidentally Meeting You

                   Tram's  POV

As clear as the summer's blue sky spreading throughout the Quinale Beach (AN: Somewhere in Anda, Bohol, Philippines). Here I am humming and dancing freely. The gentle tailwind breeze that gradually soothe the pain and forget the things that I felt back then.

It was around a year ago that I used to love you. I thought that loving you is a dream come true. You became my inspiration, my oxygen, my protector that gradually I forgot how to live on my own until one day that you're gone without a trace vanishing like a bubble in the wind.

In this time, while reminiscing those memories, my heart still pinched making me hurt but I put up a mask on my face to smile to hid the things that you have done to me.

It hurts. It really hurts. Thinking what would I be without you. Thankfully, it didn't affect my studies now. Devastated in this cruel world, thinking when will be the time that I will smile again genuinely.

I cried and all of a sudden I fell in the white sand of this beach. I felt warm but soothing enough to burn away my fatigue and stress.

I close my eyes and imagine some happy thoughts when suddenly----

"Hi."

I quickly opened my eyes and saw a short height tanned chinito man offered me hand then I sat on the sand.

I stared on the sand making me deaf for I don't even know what to do.

"The name's Jeff, you are?" He said.

I completely froze.

"I see, so you're one of those people who thinks that I'm ghost or something that dared to talk someone like you." He said.

This time, I stared at his blue eyes and said, "Nope."

"Great, so about the thing, what's your name?" He said.

"I...I...I...gotta go." I said stuttering and left the scene.

I know it's rude for me to left him but I'm kinda afraid what would happened next.

                    Jeff's POV

This is the best thing happen to my life. I finally came to the place I ever wanted to go with my friends and even on my wish list.

"Oi, Ai Jeff, where are you going? We still have to decide which room are you?" Ai Jet said.

"Just pick a room for me na Ai Jet. Just bring my bag also. Thanks." I said as I ditched them.

"Shia?!!! Ai Jeff you prick!" Ai Jet said.

Summer break in my study and luckily I was granted permission of my parents to have this summer break vacation. I know it's kinda hot in here but I kinda loving it because of this breezy wind that brewing through me.

I roam around the vicinity when someone caught my attention and that's the guy twirling around smiling but strange for I felt that he is hurt for I felt like his smile is not genuine.

I know it's rare for me to talk to a stranger but I don't know that I really talked to him. Unfortunately, he left without saying his name.

Oh well, when fate happens, I will get to know his name.

I stared at the sea for a while and head back to my friends afterwards to our hotel we checked in.

I was about to enter my room when I saw him.

I don't know that I'm smirking and my feet drag me towards him.

I dip myself unto the jacuzzi in this hotel I checked in yesterday. Actually, I am taking a summer break on my University I currently studying for I don't know. A change of pace perhaps? I never thought that this would be my first and hopefully my last lego or trip that I did recklessly. I heavily sighed. Why am I in a great despair. I don't even know---

"Hi."

I was caught of guard when the guy earlier came unto the jacuzzi where I'm too.

There's now way that this is just coincidence for the probability of meeting the same person twice is 0.000001%.

"I...I...I..." I stuttered again.

He was enjoying the jacuzzi across at me that here I am sighing again.

"I know you're off the season but try to keep up the pace. World may be cruel and not fair but life is beautiful. It's all a matter of perception to gaze the essence of it." He said.

Wow, what a quote.

"And where did that quote came from?" I said.

I don't know, I felt warm on my heart making me to have courage to tell him that.

"Hmmm. I don't know, I just remembered it." He said.

A long silence after that.

I couldn't continue the conversation we just had for I don't even know---

"Listen, you might not venture words today but soon you will discover that meeting me will soon change the pace you have." He said.

He left afterwards but he left me a genuine smile.

Yes, a smile that-that is all I ever wanted. A thing that I could wish for.

Night came, I found myself stared blankly at the balcony of my room when the man a while ago startled me.

"Guess what I'm thinking...now!" He said.

"I...I...I don't know. I'm not a psychic so..." I said while I turned around to hid my face from his gaze.

"Man, you really are a mysterious one. Hehe. So, what's on the tube tonight?" He said.

I don't know what he said but clearly he notices that I don't know so he said, "Err... I mean, what do you have in mind? Instead of mine?"

"Well,perhaps I'm  thinking how to go back in time." I said.

"What if that will be happen? What would you choose?" He said.

"I don't know. I...I...I just want to know why. Sadly speaking, I can't change the way things happen and as it's used to be for changing the past facts distorts the future that is more beautiful and grandeur." I said.

"Wow, I never thought you have deep thoughts in your mind huh." He said.

"Thanks." I said.

"Perhaps, can we have a little booze to enjoy the night?" He said.

I nod and we went to the bar club near the hotel we checked in.
