Chapter Two

"Some people are worth melting for."

The next morning has arrived and it was the day that both Edward and Bebe would be joined as one in holy matrimony. And both myself and Alice were getting Bebe ready, Alice was putting on Bebe's makeup and I was doing her nails. "What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice asked, both of us noticing the darkness under her eyes. 

"Sorry, bad dream. It was wedding jitters." Bebe answered and smiled softly to us.

"Don't worry I was the same," I giggled as Rosalie came into the room. Her eyes were soft but underlining sadness was there.

"Do you need some help? I could do her hair." Rosalie says looking to both Alice and I. And I smiled softly.

"Really?" Bebe asked shocked. 

"Please. I'm not offended by your choice of groom." Rosalie scoffed, but a smile was resting on her face.

"No, just her blatant lack of respect for mortality." I said with a chuckle.

"Essentially." Rosalie answered, a smirk now resting on her face. 

"Weddings. They bring everyone together." Alice said joyfully, her eyes sparkling with happiness. 

"Alice? Bella? Kara?" I turned hearing Renee.

"ln here, Mom." Bebe calls out, and Renee comes in a soft smile on her face and her eyes wide with excitement.

"Oh, my gosh! You're so beautiful. Oh, honey." Renee whimpers as her eyes start filling with tears. "Crap! My mascara." Renee whines trying in vain to not cry. 

"Mom!" Bebe says slightly embarrassed. And Alice hands Renee a handkerchief.

"Thanks. Charlie, get in here." Renee calls as she wipes the traces of tear off her face.

"You sure? I don't wanna..." Charlie says as he walks in the room wearing his wedding tux, Bebe smiles seeing her dad all dressed up and I do the same, as I remember when he was here for my wedding. "I know. I look hot." He chuckled. "We thought you needed something blue." Charlie says as he opens the gift box containing a jewelled hair comb. "And something old. Besides your mother." Charlie jokes, and Renee scoffs at him.

"Nice."

"It was Grandma Swan's." Charlie states as Bebe picks the beautiful comb, I smile as I have a flash of remembrance of this comb even Bebe smiles softly, a memory going through head of see it.

"But we added the sapphires." Renee states quickly seeing the soft smile on Bebe's face.

"It's beautiful, you guys. Wow. Thank you so much." Bebe says grateful to her parents and hands it to Alice, who places it in her hair carefully. 

"It's your first family heirloom. Pass on to your daughter, and her daughter." Renee says, and Bebe's smile falters but she continues the act as Renee begins to cry again. 

"Mom, I love it." Bebe says and she goes to kiss her parents, but Alice stops all three of them. 

"Nope. No smudging my masterpiece." Alice states firmly as I giggle on the sideline.

"She's right, we worked hard on that," I stated with a pout and Renee giggles at my antics.

"Completely right Kara," Renee says smiling to me, and giving me a side hug.

"Okay. Time for the dress! Do you wanna see it?" Alice giggles, clapping her hands together. 

"I want to see it!" Renee shouts excited. Once Bebe was dressed, I joined Carlisle and Esme in our places, I held tightly onto Carlisle's hand, as I felt a tug in my stomach. Soon a soft melody was playing, everyone stood from their places, and I turned to see Bebe and Charlie walking down the aisle. Bebe looks to me and smiles with tears filling her eyes. I winked as Charlie gave Bebe to Edward.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here on this glorious day to witness the union of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Please repeat after me." The Minister began as everyone took their seats again. "I, Edward Cullen."

"I, Edward Cullen." Edward started.

"Take you, Bella Swan."

"Take you, Bella Swan." Edward repeated.

"To have and to hold."

"To have and to hold."

"For better or for worse."

"For richer, for poorer."

"ln sickness and in health."

"To love."

"To cherish. As long as we both shall live."

"I do." Whispered Edward as he smiled softly to Bebe who smiled back.

"I do."

"I love you." I heard Edward whisper as everyone around us smiled.

"I love you too." Bebe whispered and the pair leaned in and kissed. Everyone stands and claps.

I smiled as I watched Bebe and Edward speak to Billy. "I'm so happy for him," Carmen whispers.

"Mmm, I am too, took them long enough," I chuckle. "Bebe, Edward!" I call out as we walk over to them.

"Bella. Congratulations, Edward." Carmen greets them smiling as she brings Edward into a hug.

"Thank you." Edward says, a grateful smile on his face.

"Eleazar and Carmen, right?" Bebe questions, remembering their faces form mine and Carlisle's wedding.

"Mmm-hmm. Hola." Carmen greets.

"Yes, and these are our cousins from Alaska. Tanya, Kate."

"We've heard so much about you." Kate states, smiling.

"Welcome to the family. Bienvenida." Spoke Eleazar next as he hugs Bebe.

"Thank you."

"Irina. Come meet Bella." Carmen calls out, but I see her staring at Billy and Seth, agitation clear in her face. But she comes over.

"I can't do this." Irina whimpers.

"You promised." Tanya whispers.

"They invited one." Irina growls.

"Irina, he's our friend. And I allowed him here," I growl.

"They killed Laurent." Irina scoffed, her eyes narrowing on us.

"He tried to kill Bella." I growled, my eyes flicking between red and brown, as I tried to control myself.

"I don't believe that. He wanted to be like us. To live in peace with humans. With me." Irina whimpered, wanting to believe in him.

"No he didn't he wanted to kill her, and if it wasn't for the wolves, well, actually he'd still be dead because it would have been me that killed him," I growled, and Irina looks to me with sadness before leaving us.

"Irina!" Carmen scolded as we watched Irina walk away.

"Well. Let's not monopolize the bride. Congratulations." Eleazar says and I smile softly.

"Thank you." Bebe thanks again, as everyone goes away.

"Sorry." Tanya says and her and her sister walk away after Carmen and Eleazar.

"Well, what's a wedding without some family drama?" I question with a chuckle.

"Yeah." Bebe giggles as we all walk away.
