"Artemis, goddess of the moon, a virgin and a huntress"
I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT OR TVD/TO THEY BOTH BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTIVE AUTHORS! I ONLY OWN KARA AND HER WORDS...
"Do you hear that?" I questioned Carlisle as we both stood on our balcony. Carlisle nodded and we both jumped down to the Earth and ran towards the direction of Jacob's new pack, only to see they were being mocked by two new red-eyed vampires.
"Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home." Carlisle stated. Watching the pair with scrutiny.
"What are they doing here?" Kate asked coming up to us. Watching the pair as well with not a single bit of trust in her eyes.
"We heard the Volturi were moving against you. But that you would not stand alone." Vladimir said.
"We didn't do what we were accused of." Carlisle states holding my waist tightly already sensing my dislike for these two.
"We do not care what you did, Carlisle." Sighed Vladimir.
"We have been waiting a millennium for the ltalian scum to be challenged." Stefan grinned; his eyes filled with malicious intent.
"It's not our plan to fight the Volturi." I growled.
"Shame. Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed." Vladimir pouted mockingly.
"They enjoy a good fight." Stefan laughed.
"Aro's witnesses?" Eleazar's voice broke through, I turned to see everyone here with myself and Carlisle.
"Aww. Still hoping they'll listen." Vladimir whispered mocking us all and causing me to become very angered.
"When Aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazar spoke as we all gathered inside the house. Myself and Carlisle heading to our chair, no one sat in.
"So he's done this before?" Bebe questioned.
"It happens so rarely, I never realized it was a pattern." Eleazar answered shaking his head.
"Apparently, he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant." Carlisle sighed.
"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard." Eleazar said next, everyone in the room, staring shocked.
"This is all about Alice. He has no one like her." I spoke up. "Which is why she left." I sighed shaking my head.
"Why does he need witnesses?" Emmett spoke.
Alistair spoke next answering Emmett's question. "To spread the word that justice has been served. After he slaughters an entire coven."
"Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving." Amun said, getting up. I blinked and stood quickly anger in my eyes.
"Oh? And where will you go? What makes you think they'll be satisfied with Alice? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift?" I asked Amun, who stopped standing in silence. "Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment, it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will. For the sake of my family. But also for yours. And for the way you want to live." I stated firmly, my daughter looking to me with a determined expression. "And if I have too, I'll conjure the dead and fight them on my own," I growled.
A moment of silence passes through everyone as they stare at me then look around. Jacob stands. "The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires. And I'm never letting a friend fight on her own," Jacob stated smiling to me.
The Delani's stand. "We will fight." Tanya answered, her voice firm.
"This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule." Garrett said standing and smirking.
"We'll join you." Benjamin said smiling.
Amun was quick to stop him. "No." But Benjamin does not back down.
"I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please. I have not had any reason to not trust Kara, she's right we have to fight, and I will fight with her, with her as the leader," Benjamin said, I smiled softly, thankful to the young vampire.
"We will stand with you." Senna said standing as well, Zafrina next to her.
"So will we." Siobhan said as her coven step forward as well. More vampires stand as well.
Vladimir muttered under his breath with a smirk looking around. "That didn't take much."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Edward said.
"We'll see." Alistair growled before leaving the room.
'Everyone showed courage. Though we knew that Aro's army was moving against us. Soon we would face the dark gifts of Jane. And worse, the paralysing vapor of her brother Alec who could rob you of sight, sound and touch.'
