Jimin merely stood at the sidewalk, watching as people pass by – all of them oblivious of his existence. For him, people were all alike. They may have different faces, in different forms, but they were all the same – human beings who were corrupted by hunger for power.

"Jimin!"

A voice distracted him from his thoughts and the owner was one of his keen, Jungkook.

Jimin noticed that the former's face was brighter than usual as he added, "Sihyuk called for us."

"Another mission?" Jimin asked.

"Yes. Maybe even the last," Jungkook beamed.

Jimin replied with a smile before walking with him. They turned into a corner and the dark alley led into a place where an old man was waiting for them.

"You have a mission," Sihyuk bellowed.

"We thought so!" Jungkook said happily but one cold look from Sihyuk made his smile falter.

"This is your last mission for you to be promoted," Sihyuk started and the two on the other hand, anticipated the task.

"This is Kim Dahyun."

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows as his gaze landed on an image of the girl who wore the brightest smile he had ever seen.

"Your final mission is to take this girl's life," Sihyuk told Jimin.

Jimin slowly nodded before departing with nothing in mind but finishing the mission fast and successful. After all, he was already growing tired of carrying the same burdensome task.

He walked for long, trying to find Dahyun. He successfully arrived to what was described to be her home. It was a small and antique house which gave a warm and comforting feeling and he entered it without being seen nor noticed.

He saw her in the veranda. She had long black hair and milky white skin. Her eyes clearly showed sadness as she just sat on the porch, with her feet dangling below while her gaze wandered above.

Why are you looking up? Hoping that angels would save you from me?

"Dahyun-ya."

A woman in her fifties called the girl.

"Oh. Auntie. What's the matter?" Dahyun smiled.

Jimin was amazed at how both Dahyun and her aunt were smiling but their smiles showed different emotions.

"Seokjin is here," her aunt replied.

Dahyun nodded before getting on her feet while Jimin swiftly moved and followed her secretly. She entered a room where a man with thick glasses was waiting for Dahyun. He beamed as well upon seeing her. Jimin decided to merely observe them for the mean time.

"How do you feel?" Jin asked.

"Same as always."

"Hmmmm," he nodded. "In a good way or a bad way?"

Dahyun teasingly chuckled, "You tell me. You're my doctor."

Seokjin brushed her hair lightly before examining her. However, Jimin noticed from their proceeding conversations that the man did not just want to take care of her health, but of her, as a whole person.

After some time, Seokjin finally bid farewell. For a while, Jimin thought Seokjin was able to notice him but then he fixed his gaze at Dahyun once more. He whispered something to her before affectionately patting her head.

I really thought that he saw me. That's dangerous.

Hours passed as he just watched Dahyun the whole day, trying to get to know her. She was his last mission after all. However, the girl just spent her time on the veranda, observing the skies. She only stopped doing so when night came, and her aunt told her to go to sleep. Jimin watched her as she went to her room and when he was sure that everyone was sleeping, he too, went inside.

He observed her features and she looked so pure and innocent.

Are you pure or just as corrupted as others?

"It's such a pity to kill you," he spoke.

Dahyun flinched hearing his voice and Jimin was just as surprised that he froze.

"Kill me?" she asked as she turned to him.

His mouth gaped as she continued staring at him.

"You can see me?" Jimin asked.

"Yes," Dahyun answered, "Of course."

"How did that happen?"

"Uhhhmmm, because I have eyes?" Dahyun replied with furrowed eyebrows.

"No. You're supposed not to see me," Jimin said seriously as he stared at the girl intently.

Because I am an angel.

An angel of death.

And you, are my mission.
