"What are you doing here?"

Jimin spared a glance at Jungkook before his gaze travelled back to the gloomy sky above him. He mumbled, "Resting."

"You know that we never get exhausted," Jungkook retorted as he sat beside Jimin.

"My heart is tired Jungkook," Jimin said as his face showed a blank expression. "That... that oppa of hers that we are looking for is dead."

"Are you mad?" he asked.

"Very."

"Are you mad because you wasted your time?" Jungkook questioned, "Or is there something else?"

In the silence that Jimin gave, Jungkook understood his answer. He sighed, "Was I too late?"

"You were," Jimin smiled sadly.

Jungkook shook his head, "You can't love her, Jimin."

"But I already do," Jimin answered.

"So you're angry not because she lied to you, but because she still loves her dead oppa," Jungkook let out a scoff, "Jimin, you're dead too."

There was an excruciating pain that travelled to Jimin's chest one more – a pain that was so strong, it made him feel alive.

He whispered, "This is why I should have kept my cold façade. Loving means pain."

"But... you were happy, right?" Jungkook said, "You're happy that you met her?"

"I am more than happy Jungkook," Jimin replied, "But sometimes, the happiest memories are the most painful."

"Would you rather go back to the past then?"

Jimin shook his head, "She changed me. She made me gather pieces to feel something new. I can now understand humans and their feelings."

"You can now understand 'love,'" Jungkook concluded before asking, "What are you going to do now?"

"I don't know," Jimin exasperatedly sighed, "In the past, I can't take her life because my powers won't allow me."

Jimin rapidly blinked his eyes, in order to prevent tears from forming, "But now, I can't take her life because I don't want to lose her."

"Rest Jimin. Your heart needs a rest," Jungkook stood up and before he left, he told him, "Her fate would be carried out; don't worry."

Hours have passed, but Jimin remained sitting on the bench, trying to still process everything that happened with Dahyun, until he felt another presence.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jimin complained, "Why didn't you tell me that Taehyung's already dead?"

"If I told you, would you help her?" Jin retorted.

Jimin shook his head.

"Exactly."

"So why are you here?"

"I'm reminding you of your mission."

"Damn you," Jimin glared at him, "I already know that."

"If you truly love her, you won't let her suffer much more than what she's already going through," Jin reminded him.

"I can't. I can't kill her," Jimin held his hair, "I can't bear to kill someone who holds my heart."

"You know that her fate would be carried out whether we like it or not," Jin responded, "But then, Jimin, remember what the man asked on the train?"
