The Girl who Lived

Draco Malfoy

Ellas eyes fluttered open. Hermione was sat up on her bed looking worried.
"Hermione? Whats wrong?" She asked sitting up. The bushy haired brunette turned her head and looked at her.
"Nothing I just. Im worried Ill never make any friends" Ella stood up and walked over to her. She plonked herself next to the girl.
"Hey I'm your friend!!" Hermione laughed and nodded.
"At least I have one friend" they embraced in a hug. After a few minutes they pulled apart and threw on their robes. The two girls left the dorm and entered the common room.
     They walked down the Great Hall and devoured their breakfast. A while later they were sitting next to one another in Transfiguration.
   "Phew were not late. Can you imagine the look on McGonagalls face if we were late!" Ron exclaimed as him and Harry ran in. Hermione rolled her eyes.  Ella just laughed under her breath. Just then the cat that was sitting on the desk hopped up and stood infront of the boys revealing herself to be McGonagall. "That was bloody brilliant"
"Thank you Mr Weasley. Now take your seats you two" she told them. Draco smirked. Harry sat next to Ella who was next to Hermione. Ron sat the other side of him. They did a basic spell.
Next it was potions. Hermione and Harry were placed next to each other. I was placed next to the bully. Draco Malfoy.
"There will be no foolish wand waving in my classroom. No silly incantations. I dont expect you all to appreciate the subtle art of potion making. But for those select few who posses the true gift." He looked right at Draco and smiled. "I can teach you to bewitch the mind. Brew Glory. And even put a stopper in death. But for those of you who have come to Hogwarts famous." He looked right at Harry. "You feel obliged to not pay attention" Hermione wacked his arm. Snape proceeded to ask Harry a bunch of questions that only Hermione knew the nanswer to. Draco was smirking. He seemed to be enjoying the fact that Harry didn't know the answer. Ella scowled and he turned his smirk to her. Without realising she blushed. A tiny bit. Just so only Draco could see. After the lesson was over Ella walked out with Hermione.
"Ella!" She spun around. It was Draco. Hermione stood next to her.
"Yes Malfoy?"
"Please call me Draco"
"Ugh why?"
"Because I want us to be friends"
"Why? Because my twin brother is Harry Potter?"
"No. Because you seem nice"
"Ill think about it" she blushed slightly as did he. Hermione pulled Ella away and Draco returned to his friends. The two entered the Great Hall and Ella sat next to Harry.
"Hey Ell"
"Hey Harry"
"Hi Ron" Ella looked over to him.
"Umm hi" he went very slightly pink. She laughed.
"El?"
"Yeah Mione?"
"Can we go??"
"What why?"
"Umm it's umm" Hermione gazed down.
"Oh yeah let's go" the boys looked at the girls confused.
When they reached the Gryffindor dorms Ella started rumaging through her trunk. After they'd sorted Hermione out they went to class.
As Ella walked into dinner with Hermione, Draco looked over to her, smiling. She smiled back.
After dinner was over Ella was pulled aside by Draco.
"Thought anymore about my offer?" He asked smiling. She smiled.
"Yes I have. And yes I will be your friend" Draco smiled. He wrapped his arms around her and embraced her in a hug. She gasped, shocked but hugged him back. The two pulled apart.
"Cool" he walked off smiling. She smiled, gazed down to the floor and giggled, before heading up to her common room.
"Where have you been?" Harry asked as she came in. She walked in and sat next to him.
"Nowhere" she blushed lightly. Harry rolled his eyes. Ron was staring at her.
"You sure about that?" Harry asked mockingly.
"Yes!" She laughed, "now I'm heading to bed. Night!"
