A Tail Fully Exposed

Im a Fricken Fish!

              As we go farther and farther out to sea, i know we are going to get lost. She takes so many sudden turns and curves, there is no possible way of us getting back home without some trouble. So when Liv offers me a beer, i take it. If im gonna be lost at sea, let me at least have something to calm me down. 

                "Crystal, look." Liv says, pointing towards an island in front of us. Dont look too big though, but then again we are still far away from it. 

               "Lets go!" I say cheerfully. Crystal nods and speeds us toward the growing island, that seems stranger every second. It has a lage mountain in the center, that is surounded by forest, and some crazy looking cliffs. Coming from the side of the mountain is a mouth of a cave, water shooting down into a pond, which leads to a river, flowing out to the sea. A large rainbow sits atop the waterfall, making the sight breathtaking and almost...magical.

             When we near the beach Crystal slows the boat, until it goes safely onto the beach, not so far that we cant push it back in the water, nor can it drift away. Im the first to hop out, at first I feel dissy and wobble around a bit, then regain my senses. Good thing I only drank one beer. But Oliva, she drank three. She is going this way and that. 

             "We should go up there." I say, pointing to the mountain. They nod at the sight of the sparkeling waterfall. We start heading out. The ground is all green grass, with ocasional snakes zipping by. The trees are quite dense, but it's almost as if a path leads us to the mountain. When we reach the bottom of the mountain, it looks as though we dont have to climb it. There is an opening at the bottom.  I go in first. Inside it is quite dark, but the light from above tells us that this is connected to that waterfall. A small path of rocks lead up to the opening, like a slippey stair case of death. 

                "I will go first." Crystal says, making her way up the rocks very carefully. They spiral up and go right into the cave opening we saw. I make Olivia go before me, so i can help her if she needs it. 

                When i finally reach the higher ground cave, i had been pushing Liv most of the way up, and im almost too exausted to care what the cave looks like, but it catches my eye. There is a large pool in the center, bubbles rising in it. This is not a mountain. That's a hot spring, this is a valcano! Crystal jumps right into the pool with a loud splash and a shout of delight. She can be a bit crazy sometimes. 

              "Come on in, its so warm!" She says. I hesitate at first, but slowly come in to the hot water. Above there is an opening at the top, my guess thats where Lava once erupted from the place. When my feet touch the bottom of the floor, it is surprisinly not super hot, but extreamly smooth. when i look at it closly, i cant believe what im seeing. Its a giant crystal. Pink-colored. It is letting off a light glow, lighting the pool. Where the water drops inot the water fall, it is normal colored, but at the part that is calm with the bubbles, is pink. I wonder how much it's worth... When Liv finally drops in, the crystal below us lights up, brighter and brighter, lighting the whole cave with an Erie pink color. The bubbles start coming more rapidly, it looks as if we are in a pot of boiling water, but with not as much heat. The bubbles seem to wrap tight around my legs, pushing them right together. I cant move them apart. The same i notice, is happening with them. We all start to panic a little bit as we try and try to seperate our legs even the slightest bit, but it seems impossible. The feeling of legs is pretty much gone from us. 

                The light suddenly fades away, and so do the bubbles. But my legs, are gone. What used to be them is a huge, Aqua and Gold tail. I quickly grab the sides of the pool for support. Liv and Crystal do the same, as the pink Crystal that used to be the floor, Suddenly moves sideways, opening a huge, deep hole below us. Liv's Aqua tail starts slowly flapping as she holds herself up. Crystal's tail is Pink and Aqua. Just like out bathing suits. Wait, am i still wearing my top? I quickly look down at my chest to see two sea shells, connected with sea wead. Its a sea-bra. A few flowers are mixed within the sea weed. 

              "Think thats the way out?" Crystal says, pointing down at the hole. 

              "Let me see." I say, diving down into the deep water. When i start to flap my tail, my speed increases greatly. I have to open my eyes, i have to, it might hurt, but i dont want to crash into the bottom. My eyelids snap open, and it doesnt sting, not one bit. Straight ahead is an opening to the sea, a few schools of fish swim lazily infront of me, many feet away though. Thats when i notice something, im not out of breath. But i still swim straight up, my tail flapping fast. I soon shoot right up, my whole body goes in the air, then smashes down into the water. 

              "There is an opening, but its quite a swim." I say. Crystal gives me a worried look. 

              "How is this even possible?" She asks. I shake my head, still dazed at the sight of my tail. 

             "This is some kind of, enchanted pool or something, I really dont know." I say. Crystal gentle rubs her tail, which is longer then her legs would be, with the fin at the end like looks like a huge fish tail, but much larger and sparklier. . 

               "Use your tail, it made me go so fast, im sure it will do the same for you two." I say to them. They nod and follow me down into the deep of the hole. Their eyes open, and not stinging by the looks of it too. I point to the far away fish, and start going, fast, i get there in about a minute, which took us about an hour of walking to get to the cave. They are soon at my sides, and we swim up to the suface. 

                "Wow, im so fast!" Liv says rather excitedly. 

              "And I feel barely out of breath, like ive just been jogging for a couple minutes, that's it." Crystal says. We look toward the boat on the beach. Now how are we going to be able to get in that? I slowly swim towards it and study the beach. We might have to swim all the way back. Wait, we cant. we are still those lost girls, and have no idea on where to go.
