"Hey mum, we have to go now! My check up!"

"Yes, yes! I'm coming!"

Today was my monthly checkup, something that I have to do every now and then. Although I've never had a grand mal and after starting my lamotrigine I haven't had any ticks, we still wanted to be safe than sorry. Quickly loading into the car, me and my mum pile into the car, making our way into the hospital, which wasn't that far from our house, maybe five minutes by car, ten by foot. "Hurry on in." My mum tells me in a rush, pushing my back softly as we make our way to the counter.

"Hello, we're back!" She chirps up, Linda, the front counter lady, nods her head, smiles, and leads us to my room. On our way in I spot a cute guy with fluffy black hair wearing a Nasal Cannula tube that was attached to a portable oxygen tank. I felt bad for him, my large amount of empathy most likely showing on my face. I swiftly hid the empathy, he was probably sick of hearing people feeling bad for him.

(Y/N)! Come on!" My mum grabs my hand and looks in the path that I was. "Now is not the time to be feeling bad for others! Worry about yourself!" Sorrow fills my eyes as I peel them away from his tall figure, his face never leaving me. He was probably about 5'9", 5'10". So taller than me by a few inches. His fluffy black hair swayed over to the right side of his seemingly perfect face that held a few birthmarks here and there on his cheeks. With eyes so green they reminded me of the forest, yet a certain dullness rang over them as if his forest was in the heat of a frosty winter. Nonetheless, they dazzled me. The white of his shirt mixed with the dark black of his jacket swirled together graciously as the bottom of them touched his hips that were covered by blue jeans.

I smiled softly at the thought of the handsome man as my mother dragged me off, quickly catching up to the lady. I hope I get to see him again soon. I thought hopefully to myself, unable to get the sight of him out of my mind. He somehow captivated me in a way I couldn't quite describe.

"So here is your room, you know the drill." Understanding how this usually worked I nodded my head and thanked her. She was bound to send a nurse in an hour or so to see how I was doing. In the beginning they sent somebody in within ten minutes or so, but ended up extending it to later on as I got better. "Mum," I started, glancing in her direction. "Yes, love?" She answered back with care. "I'd like to walk around for a bit, don't worry, I'll be back before the nurse arrives." Reluctantly nodding her head my mum agreed and smiled, telling me "Alright, be safe."

I ended up just wandering around the hospital, not paying attention to where I walked. Not expecting anything new, I was surprised at the sudden sound. I stopped walking and looked up from my feet when I heard possibly the most attractive voice that has ever graced my ears. "You should really watch where you're going." The man spoke as I realized that I was scarily close to ramming directly into him. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I spoke up swiftly suddenly realizing that it was the guy from earlier. "It's alright, although you came close it's not like you actually ran into me." Analyzing every bit of the conversation I forgot how close I was to him for a moment before stepping back. "Still, I should have been more careful." A small smirk danced across his lips, sending shivers down my spine. "You have a point there." I smiled at his response and nodded, lightly swiping some of my hair from my face to behind my ear.

"What's your name?" he asked, voice as sweet as honey. "(Y/N)." I told him simply, glad that I actually got to talk to him. "Cool," He started, his smirk growing slightly, a faint blush spreading across my cheeks. "I'm Will."

I smiled brightly at him, now knowing his name. "That's a very nice name." I told him happily, my blush deepening slightly. "You know, you look like the kind of guy who thinks he's everything, but I think you're just a nice guy." I spoke truthfully, fidgeting with my hands, glancing down at them and spotting the time on my watch. I looked up to see him open his mouth to talk and although I felt bad for doing so, I interrupted him before he could speak. "But I have to go now, the nurse should be arriving at my room soon!" And with that, I rushed back off to find my room, hurrying in just before the nurse entered.
