Quinn returned home naked and unafraid, full of a new purpose. Her visit with the goddess did what such visits always did; knocking her out of her headspace and pushing her forward. When she came into the clearing, she noticed that there were several more rogues present. When she came into the yard, everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to stare at her. She didn't flinch under their stares. She let her wolf shine in her eyes, letting loose a vicious growl that filled the clearing; allowing her alpha push to permeate the group.
If they were going to stay here, she was going to lead them. That was how it was going to work. If not they could fend for themselves. That was made clear to each and every one of them in her show of dominance. Not a wolf here was powerful enough to fight her and win except maybe the triplets. Not even Damon though he was an Alpha in his right.
Every last one of them bowed their heads and exposed their necks to her. She allowed her growling to cease, and moved towards the crowd, still uncaring about her nakedness, allowing them all to take in her scent as she walked past them. When she got to the door, Carly was waiting with a smile and some clothing for her.
"Thank you."
"No problem Q." Quinn pulled the clothes on and turned to face them, noting Carl sitting on a stump near the front of the group.
"I know the Moon Goddess came to you in your dreams." Many of them nodded, but most just stayed silent and still, watching her carefully. "I know that she meant for you to come here and form a new pack; a pack made up entirely of rogues." There was some excited murmuring. "I would like to begin by saying this; I am not perfect. I mess up and make bad choices sometimes. But the Goddess has reminded me that I have a destiny and that destiny is more important than any self-pity I may have been indulging in. So here's the deal.
I want to form a pack here. Any that want in are welcome but understand that I am the Luna. There is no male Alpha standing next to me, backing me up. If you join this pack, I am what you got. I understand if some of you want to leave. Go ahead; I will not stop you. But my pack will serve the same purpose my old pack did. Those who wish to may join me in my mercenary work. Otherwise, you may serve normal functions in the pack.
If you want to challenge me for leadership, you may step forward now." She used the alpha push in her voice pushing her will upon them mercilessly. One male came forward. He was huge, and it was clear he'd done very well for himself. He was vicious, and he would kill her if he could.
"I challenge." He said. She cocked her head at him and shifted into wolf form immediately, wasting no time in attacking him. His eyes widened when she knocked him over. He just barely managed to throw her off of himself and take his fur. He was a magnificent male, all reddish-brown fur, and muscle. He'd be a powerful pack member. Too bad she'd have to kill him if he didn't submit. She bared her teeth at him, canines clear in the waning sun. He growled back as they circled each other, each one looking for weakness in the other.
