Chapter 3

I stood there in silence and Hayes just kept looking at me. I never thought I would ever be in front of Hayes Grier. “Are you ok" he asked. “Yeah its just,"  “Just what?" he questioned. “Its just that,your Hayes Grier". and at that moment he smiled at me. His smile was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. Nash got up and walked up stairs while me and Hayes went to sit on the couch. We started talking and right when we were about to watch TV my phone rang. It was my mom. “Amber were are you I told you to be home 15 mins ago get home now"  I told her everything and that I was on my way home. I told Hayes and started walking towards the door when I felt someone grab my wrist. “Ill call you later" I smiled as he handed me his phone as I typed in my number. I handed him his phone and kissed him on the cheek. We both smiled and I walked out the door. I couldn't stop smiling. I finally got home and my mom was in the kitchen making our plates. She seemed mad but looked over and smiled. “Im glad you had fun sweetie." She placed our plates on the table and we began to eat. I told her all about my day and how much fun I had. After dinner I helped with the dishes and my mom went to bed. I went upstairs to my room and put on my pajamas and hopped in bed. I saw I got a text from Hayes saying how much he liked talking with me. “ Amber we should hang out tomorrow I really liked talking to you we should get to know each other" I smiled at the screen of my phone and replied “Sounds fun see you tomorrow"  He replied instantly saying “Ill pick you up around 11:00"  I replied “See you then, goodnight" “Goodnight Amber" I smiled and put on some music and started falling asleep. Last thing I remember was hearing Jealous by Nick Jonas. The next morning I woke up to my phone playing Shake it off and it was 10:45. I quickly grabbed clothes and hopped into the shower. I got out and blew dried my hair and put it in a side braid with a black bow. I was wearing wripped jeans with a black crop top. I put on my vans and went down stairs. As soon as I was at the bottom step I heard a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and opened it and there stood Hayes. His eyes were so preety, much prettier in person to. “So were are we going?" I questioned.“To the park" he said with a smile. We started walking towards the park when suddenly I felt someone grab my hand, I looked down and saw Hayes holding my hand. I looked up and smiled and so did he. We finally arrived at the park and both stood there and looked at each other. “Race you to the swings" he shouted and with that we were racing to the swings. “Haha I beat you" I yelled as we both started swinging. We were swinging for about 5 mins when all the sudden his phone rang. I was curious who it was. Hayes told me to stay here as he walked over to the sidewalk. I stayed on the swing for a few mins when he came back over. “Who was that" I questioned. “Oh um it was the tour manager" . At that moment my heart sunck a little, we just started to get to know each other and he's going to leave already. “When do you leave" I asked. “Next week but, if you want you can come"  I really did want to go but I can't afford it, “ Hayes, that's sweet but I can't afford it"  He smirked and looked at me. “Dont worry, I got it, I'll get you a ticket and two more tickets for two of your friends." I smiled really big and jumped up and gave him a hug. “Thank you so much" I said in his ear as I let go from the hug. We started walking back to my house while Hayes was explaining everything that would happen how he would mail the tickets to my two friends and everything we would do. We finally got to my house and stood by my front door. “Thank you so much for an amazing day Hayes" , “Your welcome, I'll text you later"  I smiled at him and he smiled back. I leaned in and kissed his cheek. “Goodnight Hayes" “Goodnight Amber" I opened the door and went inside. I was so happy about today. “I can't wait till tomorrow" I whispered to myself
