Nico, after finding out that Octavian had been blackmailing Hazel to vote for him, threatened to beat the boy to a pulp if he so much as glanced at his sister. Octavian, not taking it seriously, scoffed and told Nico that he could try - resulting in him leaving the room a couple of minutes later covered in bruises, scratches, claw marks, and two black eyes. Nico even had to write an apology letter to Hazel once his broken hand had healed.
