"Crowley? Where have you taken us?" the angel questioned, timidly, as he took in his surroundings. It was dark out, and they were standing atop a lush, green hill with many people gathered together in chairs or on picnic blankets below.
Crowley snapped his fingers and a little picnic blanket of their own appeared, including a little basket that smelled of chocolate cake and lemonaide. "You'll see in a bit. Here," the demon continued, sitting down on the blanket and opening the basket to reveal chocolate, raspberry cake, "bon apetite."
The angel sat in front of him, taking in the scent of the dessert in front of him. Licking his lips, a fork and knife appeared in his hands and he began to cut into the cake.
"Ah ah ah, allow me," the demon said picking up the fork. He smirked and continued, open wide."
Aziraphale did as he was told and opened his mouth, letting Crowley feed him a piece of the sweet smelling dessert.
"Well, what do you think?" the demon asked once the angel had finished chewing.
"Absolutely delightful!" Aziraphale said rather loudly, grin plastured on his face. Crowley blushed and began to lean forward when suddenly the people bellow started shouting out numbers.
"10!"
"9!"
"8!"
"Whats happening, Crowley?" Aziraphale asked in confusion and a bit of worry.
"Shhh, you'll see," the demon said putting a finger to the angels lips.
"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1! Happy new year!"
Aziraphale let out an unaudible gasp as the fireworks began to burst in the sky to make beautiful patterns. "Why, I can't believe I forgot its new year!" Aziraphale exclaimed, astonished.
Crowley kissed his loves cheek and laid down on the blanket, hands behind his head. "Happy new year, angel."
