High School Love Story

Perfect

Last night was amazing. Liam invited me to a party at his house. Great! But, since it's sunny today, I don't know what to wear to school today, a white tank top with blue jeans or my yellow summer dress. So I texted my friend Paige and she said the yellow dress would look beautiful.

As I walked into school, Mrs Johnson (yes, my strict maths teacher) saw my yellow dress and said, "Evie, what on earth are you wearing. That's it, you get a half an hour detention, come with me young lady as I take you to get some appropriate clothes for you" She said in a firm tone. What's wrong with a summer dress on a sunny day?

I came out of the changing room with a black shirt and black leggings. Mrs Johnson folded her arms and smiled.
"Aah, now, that's what I call appropriate. Next time, you will follow the dress code, do you understand!" She said in a strict tone.

"Yes miss" I sighed.
"Good!"

I walked in the hallway sulking. As I saw Liam, my face changed.

"Hey Evie" Liam smiled.

I rolled my eyes. "Hi"

Liam saw the look on my face, he could tell I wasn't happy at all. "You alright?" He asked.

"It's just Mrs Johnson, I was wearing a summer dress, but she took me to get changed and gave me a half hour detention" I replied looking down.

"Well, you look beautiful still" Liam said smiling.

I looked up at Liam "Really"

"Yeah" Liam replied being honest to me.
