The next day, I came into school and saw Paige (my best friend) crying. I went up to her to comfort her.
"Paige, what's wrong?" I asked in a worried tone.
"We have a test today" Paige sobbed.
A test. No one told me about a test. Mrs Johnson that evil bitch I mean witch. She never tells us anything.
The bell rang. I saw Liam walking to class, I spedwalked to him. "Liam, do you know about a test today in maths"
Liam shook his head. "No"
"Aah, I see you're wearing something appropriate Evie" Mrs Johnson sarcastically said. I gave her a dirty look.
"OK everybody, go to your assigned seats please" Mrs Johnson called out.
Are u kidding me assigned seats, I wanted to sit with Liam and Paige. Not fair at all.
"Right everyone, this test is in EXAM condition, so anyone caught cheating or talking, WILL get their papers ripped up and will fail this test, which. I don't think anyone wants. So. Begin" Mrs Johnson explained firmly.
Clocks were ticking and I could hear pencils being written onto paper. It was like ASMR.
