School Is Out

A week after prom and finally, 16th June, it's the last day of school for year 11s. I've been waiting for summer for like ever.

"So, what's everyone doing for summer?" Paige asked.

"No plans yet" Liam said.

"Me neither" Louis replied.

"Me three. I don't have any plans" I responded. "What I would like though, is for this school day to be over"

Liam nodded in agreement. "Anyways, we have Miss Carter, we're watching a film"

"We're not watching Lord of the Flies are we?" I asked shaking.

"Oh, I hope not, I watched it and the boys kept stabbing one of the kids on the back with those big sticks, like javelins. And it left bloody holes on his back" Louis said.

"EWW" me and Paige responded in disgust.

The bell rang. Me, Liam, Paige and Louis went to Miss Carter's English class.

Good news is we didn't watch Lord of the Flies, we watched Grease. And, Liam wrote notes saying cute stuff on it, like: I love u. So cute right.

So, after a couple of hours at school, me, Liam, Paige, and Louis ran out of school. Everyone was cheering and singing school's out for summer, you know, the song from Alice Cooper. Louis ripped his papers up and shouted "Oi oi" Me and Liam kissed, so did Paige and Louis.

I don't know what I'm going to do now this summer, get a job or hang out with my boyfriend and besties. A job can wait, I'm only 16, I'm not getting a job until I'm 18. And besides. It's summer, who wants to work at summer. Not me! I'm just glad that school is over and done.
